True, Eddie has a clean way to attribute the character to the battles, so that’s probably why. Freshy Kanal’s Denji was too logical, Eddiefrb’s got his “fuck it we ball” energy down correctly

Unless I'm forgetting something, I think this is by far the closest battle Denji has ever been in. I think Wolverine probably *slightly* won, but I feel like you could pretty easily argue it either way.

As someone who genuinely thought Denji won; he wasn’t completely destroyed. Also, Wolverine’s first verse was the least potent overall in this entire battle (though it still has well-written lines).

8:38 Okay, so you’re just gonna ignore the fifteen Don DeMarco’s Denji had in that round? I deserved a more intense reaction to most of his round one disses, especially the barrage of hits to Wolverine’s (fake-ish) traumatic backstory. Wolverine did have hard hits, but he had way less that round with six/seven.

In the end, you may have seen this coming, but imo, Denji won this (though not by a lot). And I need to see more people who agree with me; at least this battle is more fairly written than Freshy Kanal’s Denji battle.
Edit: I apologize if this comment may come out as rude to those who thought Wolverine won. I simply wanted more people (this doesn’t mean the majority of viewers, by the way) to give Denji the win. This battle can go either way and those who disagree with me are allowed to stay adamant (unless they’ve been convinced, which is probably not going to be common). I can understand why people may vote for Wolverine, but at the same time, they shouldn’t ignore Denji’s lines. We are allowed to have differing opinions and if someone has a differing viewpoint, I will often try to be as respectful as possible should I reply while also bringing up my own. Darrnell Bradley is allowed to have differing opinions from me, but sometimes, his reactions seem flawed to me (e.g. when a powerful line in my opinion goes over his head (though he cannot know or remember everything about a particular character or franchise, of course)). But to be fair, nothing’s perfect (even if I think he should react to some battles he didn’t react to, which he can do if he at least tries to get to know each participant). I honestly think there are things going over his head, and even if I dislike him not acknowledging certain good lines in rap battles (for example, he may have had a differing opinion on who won Scarecrow (DC) vs. Scarecrow (Oz) if he chose to pause and read some of the Oz Scarecrow’s lines/knew more about each), I cannot control him, only he can.
I apologize if the additional paragraph is too long for you; I simply just wanted to compensate for my original comment appearing rude and let you guys know what I think about Darrnell Bradley as a reactor.

About your 15 don demarcos... that's not really, well, accurate. All he did in the segment that you mentioned it, is just recite his backstory for the most part barely a diss until the very end cause his head does not heal so no healing of that trauma but, that's really it, it was all set-up for one punchline no 15 demarcos here, heck barely any wordplay or disses even before that tbh. Also that phoenix non reviving bar is... stupid on so many levels.
@@n484251 we can view the verse differently to be fair. I honestly think the prior seven lines were really good on their own, and wordplay isn’t required for a line to be a Don DeMarco, a diss is. Our criteria can vary to be completely honest, and to me, usually just one line as long as it’s a good diss that isn’t a direct repetition of a previous diss is enough for it to be a Don DeMarco.
Also, I’d like to know your thoughts on my respectful apology paragraph.
@@angelicwarrior118 I did mention wordplay and DISSES pretty much not being there at all for the most part up until like that bar about no healing head trauma, aside obvs ryan reynolds bar, it was mostly flexing in the first verse. Also, a lot of Denji's actual bars are hypocritical and illogical. First off, he calls Wolverine a sliced weiner... when he literally sold part of his Weiner himself. Second off said that Wolverine is as much of a Virgin as he is... And then he started to talk about how many illicit kids he has, basically nulling the original diss. And finally, Phoenix bar again, stupid, cause phoenix revived literally like 8 times. If not more.
