Ally Venable
18 year old Ally Venable began singing when she was a young child at her family's church. More recently she began playing guitar and became a protégé of Lance Lopez. In the short time she's been involved with the blues music scene she's made a tremendous splash, winning the 2014 and 2015 Easy Texas Female Guitarist of the Year awards.

@@larryfoster2227 Billy Gibbons channel lightning hopkins and old blues players like that. Every one takes what they like from the greats. She is entertaining and a good rocker I like her.
Just a little note for all of you critics out there... This is not a mixed and processed and levelled and Eq'd recording of the performance. This is an outside gig and it's really hard to get a good recording because of the acoustics of the venue. So don't judge her so harshly... The live event is always much better than the recording.

O k She's 18 with a long blues road to travel ,,, my hats off to her , , however , if you want to hear refined in the way of voice and guitar as well as arrangement -- it's Samantha Fish ,,, at 30 Samantha has been playing guitar for 15 years as well as singing -- she's from Kansas City , composes much of her own work and has grown from just a trio setting to her own 7 piece band === Samantha is the revolution today

Surely you're aware that the business thrives on promoting mediocrity. Local bands at a corner pub are streets above anything you hear on the radio. And these bands don't need auto-tuning to sound half decent either.

I just found out about the Ally Venable Band recently and I’m loving it, I can’t stop playing her music for weeks now. Great vocals, great songs and great guitar solos and riffs. The band is great but Ally is a star.

Ally Venable will be a household name within 10 years. Hip Hop has run it's course as well as other pop music this days. The smaller labels are not so small anymore and now that people were forced to stay home everyone will be flocking to live shows and festivals. She just needs artist to do a crossover type thing like SRV with Bowie and look out! Normally I would worry about a young artist getting too much fame at an early age because of the obvious reasons but also creatively they can remain unmolested as long as possible but from what I have witnessed and heard from others in the field she has a great foundation and a great head on her shoulders. Rock on!
Wow, she's only like 17 or maybe 18 here??? Her 2018 shows & album are very impressive. She's received several awards for her blues & guitar at age 15? I'm sold on this young talent! I'm fortunate to have run across her channel somehow!

Kim’s husband Kevin: Saw her at Mojos Boneyard Saturday. Incredible talent! Band top notch. She came offstage during Blackwaterblues & went to each table & jammed for about 30 seconds. Talked to her very briefly after show. a very nice young lady. I’m a fan for life!

Ally is incredible, with tons of potential. Why don’t we see more women wailing away on electric guitars nowadays? We need more who can play as good as Joanna Connor, Debbie Davies & Ally.
What's sad is that they still have to wear skimpy or revealing outfits or men won't watch/listen.
@@blessedheavyelements8544: That's a generalization and wrong. Rock and Roll in all its types is performance art and that many women and many men are making a fashion statement. Ally could be 4' 8"" and 250 lb and wear a burlap sack, the way she plays and sings would draw serious music fans.
