I agree with your opinion. She’s a decent player but not much groove there (yet).I saw SRV play this tune from the 5th row - he sat on the edge of the stage…will never forget it.

Although he was a technical master I never felt any soul in his drumming. It's called an opinion. I am allowed to have one without all the "participation trophy" mom's getting their panties in a bunch.

I saw Ally and her band a while back in Austin, Tx and she was amazing but I was also blown away by her bass player. That guy is exceptionally good.
Miss Ally sounds like the makings of a fine blues player that will find her grove and style and we will be blessed to hear her play.
