53 years young, just taken up woodworking, can’t get enough info, this 3 part series is the bees 🐝 knees, cheers from England🤓👍
I wish the BBC still made things like this. There is so little decent information online for furniture.
I was given the Story of English furniture on two VHS tapes many years ago while learning to be a cabinet maker. Alas my tapes were damaged in a house flood. I never thought id see part one and now we have part two. Thank you so much for putting these on TH-cam
Real craftsmanship is so rare anymore. I appreciate these videos more than you could ever know.
Beautiful, my life is now complete. Many thanks.
You're welcome,,
but your life isn't complete yet,
there's still a Side 3 & Side 4,,
just keep having patience... :-D
Multiwizard....I'm waiting patiently! 👍
@@Multiwizard I did notice that this didn’t go as far as the Victorian era but hardly dared ask for more. I shall wait for as long as it takes. Thanks again.
Absolutely love it! Thank you for uploading and sharing on TH-cam where everyone can enjoy it.
Wonderful! Thank you for uploading this. After your comments after uploading Side 1 I was afraid we’d never see this. Arthur Negus was a part of my growing up and there is very little video of his calm, warm expertise on the net. Thank you!
" . . . the support it needed; fluted and reeded . . ." Poetry.
I will forever know how to make a lathe.
Look how young he is!
Pine? You peasant! 😂
Arthur got a bit too comfortable with those drawers.
th-cam.com/video/ZcsdyFdwOVw/w-d-xo.html He's positively aroused by this piece.
Is side 3 & 4 available? :) I love these!
Mahogany, do you know where you're going to?
