I think the set of businesses that redirect the customer to the price in the DM , although I am not saying they are right, but imagine having to reply 100people every 5mins Asking for price! After you have carefully taken your time to write it in the caption, write it boldly on the video!!! 😂😂😂 I feel the same way it’s frustrating to the customer asking for the price, it’s more furstrating to the vendor, who is probably responding to you the 975th person asking for the price that is boldly stated and yet you’re not going to buy 😹😹😹😹😹 there is that breaking point too for them because they are humans. My opinion sha 😩😩😩

I stopped patronising IG vendors who don't have a physical store when I ordered for a blue dress. I emphasised , she confirmed it was available but sent me a green dress . I had to tell my influencer friend with 400k followers to post about it and threaten her with police before she gave me a refund . she literally refused to send me a refund even after showing her I asked for a blue dress and not green.
The other day I wanted to get hair. I sent them two different hairs and was like I am going ahead with the order. The customer service rep just sent account details. I was like how much is the total so I can send the right amount. Only for her to reply and send the two hairs I asked for and said those are their individual prices so I can calculate. I was like I know how much they are, I want you to calculate it and tell me the amount so if anything happens, you can be held accountable because na you tell me price. Before she now calculated it and told me the total. I was so irritated. Because how will I go into a store and the attendant is telling me to calculate the total myself because I know the price. These business don’t have the right customer service etiquette
Most times too, you'll put the price and all the details in the caption yet people will go to comments or evn DM to ask for the exact same info that's in the caption

I told her to please send a picture of what she had and this lady literally asked me to go and look for it on her page😂😂 I told her I didn't see it, and she asked me to go and check, that I should "scroll down down". I just kept her quiet. After like 7 hours, she sent a picture. I just ignored her for now.

See that line "If Stupidity was a person...", forget it my dear, because Stupidity is actually some people living and breathing like humans. I actually have this firm belief that most Online Vendors are not really there to do serious well crafted businesses. Many are just there for the clout, to look like they have something doing... And many more are there to scam people. Common sense with some drops of that Milk of Human Kindness is something that comes naturally to any serious business person. All that Nelo said aren't exactly rocket science. That people operate contrary to these basic and simple facts that anyone with half a brain should know simply shows that most of these silly Vendors are truly not there for business. They won't tell u why they are there, but it is not for serious Business.
Your thriftschick sent me a different size entirely. Unfortunately, no size anywhere on the jacket! When I complained, she said they have a way of determining sizes BUT the jacket didn't size me 🙃its teriible
When you spoke about the dm for price and when you send them a dm and then comes an automated message saying we are closed send us a message on WhatsApp it made me laugh because I have experienced that countless times with Nigerian vendors. And it's so sad and bad, because even when you send them messages on WhatsApp they don't respond.
I think the "day in my life" thing also helps boost the confidence of new shoppers/ prospects. So people know this is a real person and not a scam page, but when it's too much, it becomes distracting sha.
It pains me when the goods are not tagged so that I will know if I can buy it or walker Pas. Abroad even if clothes are with you for two weeks and the labels are still on it , you can return it and they will ask you whether you want to change it or you want your money back? The choice is yours.

That said, I would never understand how people increase prices of old stock , how 🙄, did dollar increase come into your store to affect the goods too? That point of exchange in a supermarket happened to me at spa, price misled me I got home and realized the item was 8k on the receipt whereas on the item they put 1,200 sticker I went back the next day and they didn’t even argue o they apologized and refunded me because it was their fault, they even went back to the stand to confirm, I wonder why businesses don’t like refund !

Nigerian vendors need to do better with their return policy. I bought a shoe, the sole has different colours, I message the vendor and she replied that even if Jesus comes she won't accept it back. I am stuck with this shoe till today. 😢😢
