Dräger South Africa Fire Combat and Rescue Challenge 2022

Dräger South Africa hosted their 2nd Fire Combat challenge on the 28th July 2022. With teams from all over the South African Emergency services competing to see who the toughest and fittest are. The main feature was Dräger PSS AirBoss self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), the Dräger HPS Safeguard fire/rescue dual purpose helmet and the Dräger Type 4 Nano cylinder. The Dräger team introduced a CrossFit element into the competition to emphasize the importance of fit and strong Fire Fighters. The Dräger Mobile training gallery was also used to focus on rescue work in confined spaces. The Fire Combat and Rescue Challenge event was held at Dräger South Africa’s head office in Woodmead, Johannesburg.
