    That’s some thick grass And good dirt you got there Goon. Like a carpet! I laughed when you used the bucket and cleaned up your grass from the dirt. 🤣. That music and out shot was like an oasis. So relaxing.

    Don’t see that style of sprinkler much in my region. There is something oddly satisfying about watching that spray pattern, almost mesmerizing 👀

    Nice to see you've got a thin trenching shovel. They also make a thin hand trowel. If you had dug out a little bit more of the soil the water would have dropped below the fitting without any chance of contaminants entering the system and you could have save the time in not having to flush the system. Just put the head on Boom turn it on make final adjustment to the ark and you're out of there. Pretty good job though compared with some of the people I see showing sprinkler repair of this sort. I've been repairing sprinklers for over 40 years.

    You did a great job replacing the sprinkler head. The only thing I would say is DON'T use the pliers to rotate the head. Sharp metal tools will scratch and gouge the plastic and the wiper seal will leak. Better to grasp with hand and rotate it.

    Awesome video for sure!
    I know it's been a couple years since you premiered this video...
    Any suggestions, tips or tricks when replacing the grass/sod back into the ground?
    Mine is close to cement sidewalk and I seen a lot of loose gravel rocks just below my sod...
    My guess is the gravel came from when they installed the concrete sidewalk?
    I can tell you it was overkill as there is lot.
    Should I put some type of dirt fertilizer and maybe some clean topsoil down before I put my old cut out sod back down?

    Are all sprinklers removed by twisting it out? Are they never glued? I tried to twist mine loose but it seems stuck….i need to add a riser to it bc it was underground this year when I un-winterized it

    What do I do if I have replaced mine and it still has trouble popping up and my gardner says it is because of my water pressure.. what I know it is not.. because it worked for 10+ years until now.. maybe a leak? how can I find out if i do have one..

    I specialize in irrigation only and I gotta say this guys paid buy the hour and loving it. Poor homeowners. Without cutscenes, this should of been done just as clean in 10 minutes. Why would u need a level of your going for grade next to the concrete? I would hope you can see what the elevations like. Doesn’t take much to see the change and adjust. 🤦🏼‍♂️

    • @Szdday
      @Szdday  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t with these. You can use them if your water pressure is too high and you are seeing fogging. You want to see large water droplets.

    Thanks! However, there's way to much wasted time on completely obvious stuff. Yes. We know how to dig a hole! There's about 42 seconds of useful information; the rest is "fluff". We are too busy repairing our sprinklers to sit and watch your artistic composition. Sorry.

    It would be a lot better if you would explain things. One example is flushing the line. You show it, but don't explain how it's done and what to use to do it. There are much better tutorials that actually explain how sprinklers are set up and how to install and troubleshoot the heads.
