Build a huge facility out in the mountains & take them there. Provide food, healthcare & water. If they want to leave they'll have to walk back. Problem solved.
With the affluent, problems literally have to lay on their step for them to care. All of this assistance is long over due especially when other states are bussing their homeless out here.
Why should the "affluent" have to deal with the homeless? This is a problem for government to solve? That's why we citizens pay taxes. For our leftist goverment to actually solve problems, rather than wine about pronoundes, DIE policies, "racism," etc.
Santa Monica if San anything called homeless emergency then it also needs to be where the pole is. So nc is one of the states where needs state of emergency.
The situation is as simple as the analogy of putting out a bird feeder. It attracts the birds at the owner's expense to feed them. The birds become dependent on the feeder and soon lose the ability to fend for themselves. Worse, they congregate at the feeder making noise, squabbling, and shitting all over. The solution is simple. Stop putting out the bird feeders which means stop doing things that attract the homeless in ways that cause them to stop fending for themselves.
