@Guest.7289_2 That was a solid sub for sure. Best in history may be up for debate and is probably down to preference. Regardless, the ease at which he went from chest straight down to it was impressive 👌.
@rainbowwarrior6452 really? I didn't know that. I put a link to their channel in description and gave a shout out in the video, but I'll see if I can link the video (although I'm not tech savvy).
just in case you didn't know most of them use what is called subharmonics to sing the very low parts, or sometimes Tomi uses ingressive phonation. only Tomi and Peter sometime uses chest-fry but not that often for bass lines. Also I think what Tomi is doing around the start is kargyraa. I might be wrong tho I'm not them but it's what I'm 80% sure it is. If you wanna know how to do thoses bass singing techniques let me know and I can explain you (you don't have to be a bass to do it)
@Hemli_clrg Thanks for the info, I'm already proficient at subs and can do chest fry, growl etc but don't tend to use them. I've just never come across that kargyraa that Tomi was doing. Also I thought Peter tended to use chest fry over subs but maybe I'm wrong about that. For the most part I was under the impression that bass lines were mostly chest hums, but if they want to get really low then subs it tends to be except for Peter where it tends to be fry over subs.
@MikeBass4456 Well Peter is better at chest Fry than subs but because the subs have a cleaner sound they are easier to mix with other voices. And yeah they do use chest for any bass lines above A1/B1. Tomi sometimes uses ingressive phonation for lower stuff because it sounds as clean as chest. But as i said I might be wrong About it but that's what i've been hearing them use for other covers.
6:13 Bobby casually pulls out the best B0 in history

Tomi P commented that he used Mongolian throat singing to get that unusual sound.
Never knew he could do that, yet another string to his bow it seems. These guys have endless talents.
The custom is to link the original video in your show notes.
Brev hit B0 to E5 here.

The start by Tomi is Mongolian throat singing.
