The ending Santa sounds like Layne, but I was under the impression Eli did the earlier Santa. J's Satchmo was spectacular. Not only did he sound right but it actually sounded 'easy' like he wasn't even straining. And that's an impression that seems like it would be hard on the throat.

Thanks for another great VoicePlay reaction. I'm not a gamer either, but VoicePlay's tunes are always entertaining. Apparently, "On-Lyne" is the name of the in-game 1990's boy band. Yes, the Warframe franchise contacted VoicePlay soon after they released "Sleeping in the Cold Below" about this opportunity. This is an earworm! Eli was lead singer with a rock cover band for about ten years prior to joining VoicePlay. Those screams are at least partially Eli. I'm glad that Warframe let the guys do their usual creative job...filmed at Pattycake. You are correct - Omar Cardona is the featured guest here. You can always scroll down in the video description to find many answers to questions. VoicePlay always credits everyone on and off screen involved in a video somewhere in the lists there. I do believe that VoicePlay can do anything and make it wonderful!

When Tim's sings lead Chance always does bass. Chance was a bass singer fie another a capella group before he joined Home Free. Chance can go very low, not quite as low as Tim but Tim and Chance at times you can't tell the difference

Tim doesn't do subs, but his growl is famous for a reason.

We call it Tim's growl note and he can do it without being processed. I've heard him do it live many times, He even did it on the acapella show The Sing Off for the judges and I think that's a big reason why They won the competition that season, every judge popped out of their seat when He dropped that bottom note unexpectedly. We also call it his dragon breath. Adam Chance can sing bass too, (not as low as Tim though) and often does bass especially when Tim sings lead. In the group he was in before joining Home Free he was the bass guy for that group, it's called Street Corner Symphony if you want to check them out. I like their cover song "Madness", Chance does the bass.

I actually watched You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch first, and I very much enjoyed it. This version is very chaotic and energetic, but it is so much fun to watch. And about time to allow Bastien to show how silly he really can be. It was totally awesome in my opinion. About the lyrics. I googled them (as no one seemed to know the last verse) and I think there are different versions of it. On some there is this third verse, on some not, and I even found one with an entirely different third verse. So who knows what the original lyrics really are. Thanks for the reaction.

The Grinch was played by an (unnamend) actor in Nashville they hired. He did a great job! I always think that the vocal fry Tim often does isn't always a sign that he's reached the end of his chest voice as he does them on higher notes too (sometimes at least). I love their arragenemt of this, speaking parts included. And the video, too! A very unique approach. And very fun to watch. While I don't think that they sing full out during a video shoot, I know that some, if not all, do sing over the track to make it look authentic. If you watch their throats you can actually see it. If you just mouth the words, the throat doesn't move. Thanks for the reaction.

So much crazy fun! Yes, I saw Rob doing a “Carlton” type dance briefly. The whipped cream, chocolate sauce, skittles and cookies were so much fun. Loved Rob’s voice at the end….sort of gospel Rob. Good one Mike!

Love this! So much fun. Adam Chance can go pretty low but not as low as Tim. I’ve heard them in concert 3 times and Tim’s voice goes right through you. It hits you in your chest. I think he’s just been able to go even lower as he gets older. Amazing. Loved the Grinch too. It’s just an actor they hired. Good one Mike! Have a Happy Christmas!!!!

Tim has done this song at concerts just like this. Tim going that low in his bass is normal for him. He has had a lot of things happen at concerts when he goes low at concerts he’s blown speakers, plaster has fallen off ceilings, he’s even told about blowing power at a fair and people got stuck on a Farris wheel and a lot of people have said they feel his bass when they are in the audience even from far away. Austin once wanted to feel what it felt like and sat on the ground next to the speaker asked Tim to do a low note after Austin said his vision went blurry

Hilarious unhinged chaos 😂 Chance is the most serious one in the group always has been but lately he’s been letting loose smiling and laughing a lot more. After 2 heart wrenching videos it’s great we got a hilarious video 😂

What you just heard was Tim releasing the dragon. He does it regularly in their live shows. He did that when Home Free was on The Sing-Off. Their performance of Ring of Fire which was the turning point for them.

It can be hard to tell the background vocals if it is Tim or Chance-they can trade off seamlessly Snow Globe is a good example

The guy doing the splits is Adam Rupp. He works out regularly and is quite fit. Home Free had fun with this video.

This is the chaos one gets when filming the 6th video in 2 days. Good thing they recorded the audio when sanity prevailed. They are opening their Christmas concerts with this one. Have you heard their “What Christmas Means to Me?”. The video is equally crazy but it’s all R&B Rob vocally.

Geoff and Kathy filmed this the day before Thanksgiving. He told his patrons at the preview that this was not the song he wanted to do, but his "boss" said, "No." He and Kathy only had from 10:00am to 3:30pm to get everything set up and shot, so they worked quickly and efficiently like the consummate professionals they are. I love this version of this song. The album cover work fits perfectly with the cathedral bell feel of this. This is one of my favorite covers of his.

The "mas" (8:22 in your video) is indeed all subs - G1-Eb1-F1-D1, then repeat. "Bold" at 13:22 , with the slide is all chest. (The more compressed chest sound)
