Was the bms not comuecating with the inverter in the last week with the overcast, whether it has not dropped below 52.4v, so now I can get the blogs up and running your are catching me up you will soon be on the water looking forward to sume company
I am considering a similar project and I am wondering if you (1) considered cross airflow for ventilation through the boxes in order to reduce UV panel temperature on sunny days and (2) sort of related to the first question, if the boxes double up as rooftop storage boxes is there any concern about keeping combustible items in the boxes?
@flibbertigibbet6324 hi yes the cross member sites on the top curved of the roof witch give me full length of the box and 60mm gap on the sides for the air to pass through
@@narrowboatmisfit-zh7qu A 60mm gap, ah plenty to allow for airflow. Thought I would ask because I know how hot a slate roof gets on a house under direct sunlight, on the roof of a house there is space for convection up the gradient of the roof behind the panels. I guess a large array of panels like yours also helps reduce the noise from heavy rain?
Hi Dave, your boxes look great!! Such a great way to utilise space and store your fuel. Best wishes Lee & Ali
