basements are generally a cool place to tie flies bud. Good to see ya. Ken from Calgary Alberta ,Canada. Hay I look forward to all your videos.Rick so you have at least one viewer.😉I don't mind passing on a tip I learned on how to dry off CDC when your on the water. "Attach a sm. thin (1/8 " wide) rubber band to your vest .When your CDC gets wet/and it will, open the attached rubber band open ,put the hook end into the opening and pull the tipit (fly line) tightish. Then twang the elastic a couple of time (3-6) and unattached the hook ,blow on it and it's good to go. This really works well. I have a bunch of elastic in my vest. TIGHT LINES.
Good tip, basement was the only place left to build out a shop where I could conduct my fly tying business. Living in a household dominated by women it’s understandable I guess. Thanks for tuning in, and my apologies if the videos aren’t pumped out as frequently as others, but many other things come first. Be well
Man I only come here for the rants, the flies are just an added bonus. 😂 Jokes aside, really dig your videos Rich!
Thanks as always Rich for sharing your time and expertise with us. It makes me want to get out and fish the early stoneflies!
I like this fly I'm going to tie a few of these, I can't believe how basic it is but looks like it will work awesome. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Rich, great pattern. I’m looking forward to using it.
