I want to say thank you for sharing your story. I just recently discovered you guys and so far you both have been encouraging to me. I'm going through a similar situation. Today June 27th, just got my car back after it broke down April 27th after attending an festival here in South Carolina. It's definitely been a trying time the past months or so thankfully my dad offered his truck for me to drive to work on his off days and my aunt who lended money for expenses. You're definitely right it's great to have a community of people around you when you need them. I'm grateful for the destiny helpers who were sent to help as I journey through life. Continued blessings for the both of you. Belinda and Duane I'm concerned about the future safety and performance of the truck that was wrecked. It wasn't totaled but it took a terrible slam. You are constantly traveling and need something to depend on. That truck may do well for back and forth to work weekly, but with the heavy traveling you do, I hope you don't chance it, in short, please, please, please trade her. I don't think it's dependable now. Just my 3 cents.

God bless you guys! I'm so happy to hear that things are coming back together. It's such a true statement about community. Belinda, I found such encouragement with you sharing that you also have survived breast cancer. I'm coming close to the end of chemotherapy and moving into the radiation phase.
I never dreamed in a million years that I would have this diagnosis, and my earning power would be taken away. I had retired & had planned to return to work. I was getting normal yearly routines done so I wouldn't have to take off from work.
And then everything changed. I'm the sole breadwinner in my life.
The restrictions, medications, treatments, unable to earn income, I was like, how am I going to do this by myself? I didn't have to. The community, doctors, my church, my adult children, my sisters, brother, friends, cousins, and ALL held me up, supported me! God is so good!
When you guys spoke of community, that hit the nail on the head!
People do rally and help and encourage! You guys are great encouragement as you approach this challenge with grace.
Years ago, I did a business trip to Buffalo New York & took the time to go to Niagara Falls! It was stunning and well worth the trip.
