@@susanzarate206 Nah, he was gone long before then, they just wanted to focus on Ross and the main cast. They even joked during a later season that Ross forgot his son existed. Probably too hard to keep him in the story with visitations and stuff. The ex-wife was gone by the last 3 seasons as well.

Nah, this one sounds like an honest mistake to me. She legit forgot that Ross has a kiwi allergy. She starts listing the things she knows he's allergic to and after mentioning the first two, you can see her face drop because she realizes he's right and she just remembers he's allergic to kiwi. Before that, she had forgotten and didn't believe him, not to prove her own right, but simply because it slipped her mind.

But instinctively, she didn’t believe him straight away because she valued her own memory more than his active physical reaction.
Most people would never be confident enough to trust their own memory being accurate, when present time events are proving the opposite, not even for a second.
But don’t get me wrong, I love Monica. It’s just light comedy.

This scene is really calm for what is meant to be a life threatening situation
Because it’s not really life threatening the way it’s presented. Man doesn’t have an epi pen, they drive to the hospital instead of using an ambulance and the doc is chill about it too. Oh and zero breathing issues, just a swollen tongue. It’s shown uncomfortable, not life threatening
@@TechWiz717 You can see Ross's breathing thicken when he first gets out of the chair, so he had some breathing issues.

That was an amazing visual comedy by David! Idk if it was fully scripted or just the lines and he actually mimicked the cutting of more pie going with the scene. Sadly so few comments recognize it

Though auto injectors were already invented by then, they were not really common until roughly 1999 once epipen was created and they dealt with big recalls in 98. His fear of needles would explain why he did not carry the vials needles and syringes needed until then.
