I've thought about buying one of these conversion kits for quite some time. Here in London you can't ride them anymore because of the emissions (you can but you have to pay £12.50 each day). What's put me off is my terrible understanding of electronics. It would be great to see how you deal with this as part of your project. I believe there have been some changes to the kit and you can use the existing wiring loom? I'd like to know more before taking the plunge. Thanks and the best!
Thank you for watching. I am planning to do a video on the electronics after I install the electric motor. It seams pretty straight forward and I will go into some detail. Stay tuned. After I put up part 1 Retrospective contacted me and kindly offered all the support I may need. Great company.
I'm looking forward to the next videos here too but in case you missed them, look up Vespa EV Conversions by Random Tasks. I don't think he's a professional mechanic but he's installed a Retrospective kit himself
This is going to be a great transformation.
