I wonder if it could be modded? Using an already existing museum but replacing the videos with TH-cam info when you enter the doors. Not perfect but you get the basic experience. From what I've gathered inserting videos into a PS1 iso isn't too difficult. Or just having a series of bonus informational videos.
I love the Namco Museum series of games. I only have volume one now but I used to have volume Three, which I think personally is the best in the series
SlingSter7 I know. The reason I think that Namco didn't release this in the states is because one of the enemies in the game ''Rompers" that's on Encore, does drugs in the game.
Because Encore is a game that doesn't work well on PS2. Rolling Thunder and Wonder Momo are in slow motion; put the disc in a original PlayStation and they'll run properly.
My Favorite Namco Arcade Games on Namco Museum Vol.6 was King and Balloons, Motos, Sky Kid, Rolling Thunder, Rompers and Dragon Sabers Well Wonder Momo is okay
Challenge Difficulty: Motos: Easy King and Balloons: Very Hard Wonder Momo: Medium Sky Kid: Intermediate Rompers: Hard Rolling Thunder: Very Hard Dragon Sabar: Ultra Hard
It's a Japanese only release, no real Japanese text even in MAME. Though Namco released Genpei Toumaden, Legend of Valkyrie, and Return of Ishtar the Volume 4, effectively making these the first release for these games outside of Japan (though Genpei had a sequel on the PC Engine that did make it to the US as Samurai Ghost).
@@jadstudiosofficial Jr Pac-Man, for the third time in this video, doesn't belong to Namco at all. Unlike Ms Pac-Man, Namco wanted nothing to do with Jr Pac-Man.
This Namco Museum is incompatible with PS2's hence why some games are running slower than they should in the video. Dragon Saber's FM Synth also runs far too low, you don't get to hear the full richness of each stage's soundtrack due to the incompatibility.
TheInnocentSinful1 It's a shame that Namco Museum Encore was a Japanese exclusive game for PS1! Because this has some of my favorite Namco arcade games like: Sky Kid, Rolling Thunder, and etc.
Christopher Sobieniak Yeah, But Rompers is hard as nails, Even harder than Rolling Thunder! One hit = Game Over! And Wonder Momo carries over the same looking and operating health meter, But Wonder Momo's health doesn't deplete to half in one hit from an enemy!
I wish the current namco Museum would bring back the virtual
Museum
You mean you wish there was a north American import version of this game?
@@wrgblackheart nah as in the like how namco museum 1-5 all had in game virtual museums
absolutely adore the low poly intros of back in the day
I’m kinda sad that this namco museum didn’t have rooms like the previous ones

I didn't know Dragon Saber was a direct sequel to Dragon Spirit. I've only played that once.
So basically, this is Namco Museum Volume 6.
Yes.
Well, I would've loved this as a kid.
SlingSter7 I know. The reason I think that Namco didn't release this in the states is because one of the enemies in the game ''Rompers" that's on Encore, does drugs in the game.
Can't they change that graphic?
SlingSter7 I bet they could. But they just didn't want to I guess.
I think a smart move for localization would be replacing King & Balloon with Pac & Pal. Like with Volume 2, which replaced Cutie Q with Super Pac-Man.
Tex Tepig yeah it would have been a great idea actually
How about replacing Wonder Momo with Pac & Pal (aka Pac-Man & Chomp Chomp)?
RedRanger2001 Yeah, n o.
Wonder Momo was only released in Japan, so it would be great to try it here in the states.
@@RedRanger2001 No love for "Jr. Pac-Man"?
@@jadstudiosofficial Jr Pac-Man was not a Namco release though.
I loved how the Maskers deflated. :)
Why was Rolling Thunder and Wonder Momo running so slowly?
Probably due to not emulating properly.
***** Lag!

Danilo Dellafrana Ok! I had no idea that Encore didn't work well in a PS2!

If this was released in America this will be renamed as Namco museum volume six

Motos: Easy
King and Balloons: Very Hard
Wonder Momo: Medium
Sky Kid: Intermediate
Rompers: Hard
Rolling Thunder: Very Hard
Dragon Sabar: Ultra Hard
I've wonder if Rompers was gonna be in North America /EU...
because of the logo and game is in English.

I wish Namco Released this in America With A Exclusive Pac-man Game
Outside of Pac and Pal, and maybe Pac-Attack (a reskin of Cosmo Gang the Puzzle), there was no other Pac-Man game to go to at that point.
Well I called in Namco Museum Vol.6 in US on PS1 I was disappointed that wasn't release in US and is Final Namco Museum Series on PS1
Imagine if star fox did the save your ally's by shooting them
Amazing.

I wonder why Jr. Pac-Man is never on a Namco Museum title?
Since that game was made by (Bally) Midway (without Namco's permits)?
Not a Namco property, info on this is easy to find, research.
My version of Namco Museum encore.
Jr. Pac-Man (replacing Rompers)
Wonder Momo
Rolling Thunder
Motos
King & Balloon
Sky Kid
Oh! and Pac & Pal (replacing Dragon Saber) as well!
Replacing Rompers is a terrible idea. I’d replace about anything for Marvel Land.
@@DeathlessDevil Instead of Marvel Land, why not Jr. Pac-Man?
@@jadstudiosofficial Jr Pac-Man, for the third time in this video, doesn't belong to Namco at all. Unlike Ms Pac-Man, Namco wanted nothing to do with Jr Pac-Man.
I still count Jr. Pac Man as official, in my opinion.

Update, maybe it's just this video, but I now own a copy of Encore, and Dragon Saber actually sounds fine on a PS2.
@@Bloodreign1 What about Rolling Thunder as well?
Yeah it’s frustrating. I used a ps1 with swap disc for this and Gradius Gaiden since they don’t run properly on my Japanese PS2.

Incompatibility with a PS2.
n a m c o
Namco and Taito ruled the 80's arcade scene, Namco even moreso early on.
1:01:10: Game Over
Seems a little toned down compared to the other five. Maybe that's why they didn't release it outside Japan.
Well you kinda have to have the museum
Volumes 4 and 5 were the best due to the games on them, Encore is definitely no slouch in that department either.
プレステ2で遊ぶと、一部のゲームは動作が遅くなるんだよねぇ。
ソニーもプレステ→プレステ2→プレステ3→プレステ4と進化してるけど、上位互換じゃなくて、別のハードって感じだからなぁ。
Is this a legit ps2 or is it a emulator?
Can I just ask
Why the heck is this so expensive???
It’s literally like 30 dollars on eBay
Wow, the port for 'Rolling Thunder' here is SLOW.
PS2 incompatibility for this collection. Plays fine on a PS1 though if you have a modded, or Japanese PS1.
Is sky kid a bird
Yes
Was this game only release in Japan?
Yes, Japan only.
