I honestly had not evaluated what I have been eating to contribute to my anxiety! I eat healthy anyways, but I think I need to be more careful..Thanks for such an informative video.

I find raw cacao powder (magnesium rich) Brazil nuts for selenium and anything naturally probiotic really helps me. Such as kefir yogurt, cheese and kombucha (sooo tasty) good luck with your anxiety journey I know first hand it’s a hard one to face on the day to day. Love this video ❤️

Although they are less processed, foods such as maple syrup, honey and dates (as mentioned in this video) are still forms of sugar and will cause your blood glucose levels to rise

And having PhD in Neuroscience I totally agree with the expression that gut is your second brain. Among others, Serotonin (hormon of happiness) is synthesised in our gut. That alone is pretty convincing :) And if you would like to check out some of my comforting recipes I would recommend you try my Thai Curry. Already making it is super soothing (I guess all of the fragrant spices tickling the brain) :)
100% agree with you. I suffer with anxiety and truthfully when I eat poorly I definitely feel it. Just like exercise, always helps with my mental health also. I need to try Herbal coffee. ;)

I dont know if I'm even allowed to do this but when I made my minestrone soup that required leek, I also chopped the leaves super small and added it as veggie stock to the soup. I think I did it in another soup as well. It softened and we all ate it lol

I really like this video and the suggestions behind it except for suggesting to still have caffeine :/ caffeine and alcohol are the two first things to omit from your diet for those with severe or even mild anxiety
Love this video as mental health is important. Love these recipes and the cookbook and with school being closed I have had more time to look up recipes I wanna try. I really like the smoothie recipes and talking about using ingredients to keep your sugar down as I am a diabetic and that’s always important. I also like the coffee recipe; but would have to modify it because of my peanut and nut allergies. Any suggestions you have for that would be awesome. Keep up the amazing work that you do!!!

I struggle with anxiety as well and a change in food does help with anxiety. When i eat cleaner my anxiety is decreased
