Several of these were boats, muscle cars were the downsized vehicles with the boat's motor in it,,. I miss the days of having an old beater, I didn't buy any 80s cars, everyone who did was so upset and wanted their old cars back

Says top 10 cheap muscle cars:
Muscle car: intermediate sized car with at or near 400 cu in engine , also includes pony cars like Mustang , Cougar , Camaro and Firebird - 68 X car would count also since similar platforms to GM f body .
Proceeds to make a list of 8 Full Size classics that are Not Muscle Cars
And only the top two qualify. In addition, almost anything that could easily be driving is close to or over 5 figures it makes it almost moot anyway. It’s ok though because we say some trendy shit about “ murder it out yo” in all black 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

mostly anything made in the 60s or early 70s with 2 doors and a v8 made in America. at least that was the criteria for this video. If you what one cheap, you gotta bend the definition a little bit

My compliments for being into and fairly knowledgeable about cars from the 60's and 70's. I can remember when every one of these cars were a dime a dozen. Getting pretty expensive now but that's how it goes.

Kind of stretches the definition of “muscle car” to include some plain Jane under powered regular cars. This guy was a twinkle in his daddy’s eye when muscle cars came out. If it doesn’t have the biggest available engine or other performance package, it’s not a “muscle car”.

The first car I drove around, rather extensively was my fathers, delta 88, 1966, under the hood, the air filter cover said ultra high compression 455, I found out later that they did not make a 455 in 1966 it was a 425 The engine it did have was a 425 I believe it had 300 horses anyway this big old heavy Oldsmobile was surprisingly fast I mean to tell you it surprised a lot of people that thought it was just some big old family car. Well it might have been a big old family car but let me tell you by 425 would lay it down and takeoff like a bat out of hell.I had a z28-350-4speed,it could not match the Olds425, the only car I ever owned that could have beaten the sleeper delta 88 was my 1970 Road Runner and that 66 Delta 88 might have given my Road Runner a Run for its Money!
