Hi everyone there are tons of scammers going around TH-cam right now saying people have won guitars. If it doesn't have the name ROBERT BAKER with a check mark beside it isn't me. Also, I will never ask you to pay for anything if you won. These scammers are trying to trick people into paying the shipping cost. Be safe out there and Goodluck to everyone :).

I got hit on this on another channel. They got me to the part on telegram where they wanted shipping at a very high amount using Canada as the destination for shipping. I said no at that point. I would describe a Telecaster as “Less is more”. Since years I haven’t been a very fan of Teles because I saw them very simple. 2 singlecoils, 3 selections and here we go. Now I’ve realised than it isn’t that important to have thousands of options on a guitar but to have those who you really enjoy. And now I am looking that sound only a Tele can do. Good luck to everyone!

“Desert island guitar”. That’s the tele for me. I have a two guitars that are probably my “main” guitars and they’re a bit more obscure models. But if I were on a desert island and had to pick one guitar to get me through it. It’d be a tele. Obviously an acoustic would probably be better…probably no electricity on this island. But you get the metaphor.

Same is true of ost of his guitars. People have bias, this is why they don't think so. Robert himself even questioned why the Jazzmaster tone, wasn't appreciated enough for how much it can actually sound better than the original guitar type used on iconic songs. Some sounded immensely better, simply on Jazzmaster. They have a wonderful ability to nail regions of tone other guitars take way too much to dial in. Fender gets there pretty much right away, imo. It's default positions don't require much adjustment to make them genre perfect. That, and the undeniable tuning stability in a Fender versus the other legacy companies, and you see its not just cause they are cheaper, it's because the thought in their design clearly was trying to be the ultimate in immediate tine versatility, with often the farthest manipulation of tone in the guitar itself, of any company.

The tele is widely known as the first mass produced solid-body electric guitar. It's the godfather of the Stratocaster and a predecessor to the Les Paul. Three words, brutally honest tone. In my experience at tele really shows what kind of guitar player you are

    "Perfect jam guitar"
I think the tele is basically the Swiss army knife of guitars. It can tackle any tone you need, and is all around just a joy to play.

I can only tell by reference, Never played or owned one, but always wanted to at least try one, that colour looks amazing. Thank you as usual and take care. Cheers.

The three words I would use to describe a Tele is “Beautiful Music Maker” because playing it feels so delightful and the way it sounds is even more so.

Tone bucket rolloff sounded a little like ZZ Top. But you're right about Knopfler too.

"That Classic Twang". I think it is the simplicity of the telecaster that is the allure. One tone, one volume, no tremolo, no bells and whistles. It says, "Plug me in and let's go..."

Its basically the "Swiss Army Knife" of guitars. Not really a specialized tool... but its Simple, durable, always in tune and has a lot of tonal options. doesn't matter if you need the twang or a fat round jazz tone... tele has got you covered for pretty much everything.

My three words would be "rough but ready". It's a simple, slightly unwieldy design, but it can handle any style you want and demands that you improve in order to tame it.
