    I love your videos. You do such a good job of showing the plants from angles where we can actually tell what we are looking at. So many youtubers tend to only show the plants from the top down and are often too blurry to make anything out.. You give us sharp closeups and long views which deserves 5 stars. Thank you so much!

      Thank you Elaine! I am not a professional videographer but one thing I know for sure - all angles of a plant is important to help identify it! Your kindness has touched my heart - thank-you!

    That is something that I have noticed: the Lord God has put free food out there for us to eat. We have just lost the ability, in our modern world, to see and know what we can eat from the wild. I so appreciate your video.

    Thank you so much! This is one I will definitely be looking for and I am so impressed with your photography skills it helps me a lot! I've said it before but foraging wild edibles has vastly improved my culinary skills and our health as well. Wanted to pass on my mosquito repellent recipe that works for me, in a small spray bottle -vodka and a few drops of geranium oil. You can use water but I use vodka that way you can keep it without wondering if it's gone bad. There are other oils that work, this one is my favorite. :)

    • @karenstephenson7830
      @karenstephenson7830 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah thank you Karen! Wow - that's all - vodka and geranium oil!? Nice!!!! I will have to try that this evening when I go out to work on another video!!! (Mosquito territory here I come!) Lol - daytime would be better but we're having some wicked temperatures here at the moment - - it is over 90F right now. For us in southern Ontario in June that is odd. I'm trying to grow celery and the poor plant leaves are on the ground :(

      @@karenstephenson7830 Wow, no fun having hotter than usual when gardens are at risk. We have the opposite, cooler than usual, I expect it will heat up soon. They spray the skies so much here it's hard to tell though. You can use cedar wood oil or lemongrass, various others but I like the geranium scent best.

    It’s so very sad that it’s harming the butterflies by attracting them to lay eggs on them and release a feeding deterrent that kills the caterpillars…

    Keep it in your garden if you want.
    Better yet, go into the forest and harvest this invasive. As you can see it is a big competitor for native species. Should encourage kudzu too?

    I had no idea this was such a beneficial plant to our body. But it is such a shame it is so invasive. Is there anyway to contain it to one area so you can use what you want to keep?
