Yeah, they're called carriage Bolts. I had them holding my entry steps onto our motorhome. I had to hole saw the wood above the heads to put vicegrips on them to stop them from spinning. I might put a vid together of all the footage I took doing it.
Thanks for your video. I am planning to do the same on my Fleetwood Revolution 40 ft. Question: do you install the new laminations without any glue? I didn’t see any product being used in your video. Thanks in advance
WOW! That's a load of work! Easy enough to unclip the doghouse and just take it outside for stripping, painting (or, whatever). I think we'll just enjoy our ('03 Windsong) as-is for another Season...mebbe we'll finally hit that stinking lottery! Thanks!! Jim & Cindy
I used a flat screw driver up against the screw threads, and electric drill to remove screws that were stripped out in the walls to give it solid grip.

Looks like lots of work. Good luck on your renovation. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for watching!
I cannot wait to see the finished product!!!!
Next time you have a screw that is stripped, use a rubber band between the screw and the screwdriver when you are trying to loosen it.
Ah! That sounds like a good idea, I'll have to remember that for next time!
Doing it the hard way!! Does anyone know how?
