I would love to come back to ToT, but the gacha just isnt it. It's too much effort, little reward for older players. It feels like the game was made for proffit and not the players and they don't even try to hide it. I would only return after a full switch in your priorities, which is highly unlikely, since this is mihoyo. Just saying, you're losing players to games that learnt to do it 10x better than you. Look at LADS.....
I wish they introduced new permanent game modes tbh. The interaction system is close to nothing and the games are boring. There could be so much to improve but oh well
@smaknp1 yes, because, although the time is shorter to get the cards, you get more gems and need less pulls, even for older players Not to mention the never ending amount of content in game.
@@akaikeshi1906 Their "FOMO" gatchas have limited time pull 'tickets' (can't remember the name) that can't be carried over for future runs. Even for the bundles YOU PAY for, those tickets are also limited time. "You get more gems"...I'd have to see some numbers about that, where's that coming from? But I do know ToT guarantees a new card every 100 (with old SSRs not breaking your pity) + carries over the tears in some way (with your paid ones actually being...perma ones. Cause you know, YOU PAID for them.). It's nice they're giving a few SSRs for free now, but their "promises" ladder doesn't even give a single copy of the SR (with additional copies for the paid version). " Like, if your issues is "game feels like it's milking me and not hiding it", then LADS suffers that same issue. The 'never ending content' is the event + gatcha every 2 weeks. The event exists to sell the gatcha. Also, "older players" the game isn't even a year old, there are no older players. I enjoy the game, but it is just as "made for profit" as any other gatcha. If anything, I only hope it doesn't tire out the base because there are other similar gatchas where a common complaint is "there's too many events and not enough time to save currency between them".

So it's a trade off where you can get repeat cards. A lot of their Wish Items have an expiry date and cannot be carried over from banner to banner. Which I find especially silly for their purchase bundles and that feels like the biggest "made for profit but not hiding it". Every two weeks, there is an event for the sake of a new gatcha.
