Thanks for the video! I was watching and reading that a round bale of hay has about $70-80 worth of nutrients for the soil. Just think how much you are putting in your soil. That’s is worth a lot because hay feeds at least 2 things feed your animals and the soil. I could name so much more. One of the best things for me feeding hay is all the seed.
Asked about a new lease yesterday will require some fencing by a highway. It has great web wire but only on one side. I'm thinking Timeless and high tensile for the other 3 sides. 30 acres minus 5 acres for his business. Do you recommend a certain brand of solar charger?
@@gregjudyregenerativerancherI’m curious if I can run a few hundred acres of perimeter electric fence off one of those 12 joule cyclops battery dc fence chargers. Next time you have grazing school I should sign up. Or book a farm tour before that.
Turkeys and deer season soon. Leaving the acorns for them will be a nice use of resources.🦃🦌
i am watching all your videos ... great work ... your very good at this
Those look like handy posts, thanks.

Hurrah, thank-you!

Did Greg name the brand of the insulated pigtail step-ins used in this video?
Taragate brand
Thanks, Greg 👍
What are your thoughts Greg of sheep an them acorn's? Seem like they go straight for them if they are able
We do not have health issues with sheep eating them.

Cyclops or SPEEDRITE are the best
i just happen to read about oaks in pasture and it seems goats can deal with them but not as well as fowl or pigs...
Greg we’re looking for a DC fence charger that can easily be purchased do you have a recommendation?
Buy a Cyclops!!
@@gregjudyregenerativerancher how many joules do I need?
@cpt.moroni3092 it depends on how much wire you plan to put up and the size of your farm.

What kind of solar energizer does he have that's 20 joules?
Cyclops. You have to have a separate solar panel to energize it.
What was the name of the solar charger @gregjudyregenerativerancher?
Cyclops is the brand
@@gregjudyregenerativerancher thanks sir
Yum acorn hazelnut bacon
😊
Don't pig like acorns?
And hazelnuts!
20 joules solar charger!? That’s a beast. Mines only 3
This is the charger that lit me up the other day when I was videoing the bird houses. It actually left a red burn mark on my hip!!!
@@gregjudyregenerativerancherdang!
I lost 2 young heifers last year on acorns - try to graze it with older cattle DONT let heifers or any cattle
You got that right. Young livestock are at severe risk of acorn poisoning.
