He's always loved being the center of attention. Being in Hell was the best and worst thing that ever happened to him. He was finally free to be his true self. He could dress how he wanted, talk how he wanted, do all the drugs he wanted, and love who he wanted. Unfortunately, it came with a price, especially when he started working for Val. Angel has been through all manner of abuse in his relatively short life, and very long afterlife. He knows how things work down here, and he survived longer than most people would. He may look like just another pretty face, but he's a lot stronger than people think. Part of him hates himself for being an addict, for being stupid enough to accept Val's contract, and for not leaving when he had the chance. If Val were out of the picture, Angel would have no problem doing his job, although, Vox isn't that much better. Those two seem to have made it their mission to make his and everyone else's lives miserable. Valentino has done everything in his power to make Angel feel worthless and dirty, and sometimes, Angel thinks he's right. That he's not worth anything, except what Val says he's worth. But deep down, he knows Val is wrong. He's his best money maker after all, and tonight, Angel wants to remind everyone why that is. One thing Val can never take away from Angel is his strength, and some day soon; Angel will be free. He just knows it. So, Angel is willing to show his adoring fans, and even his repulsive pimp what he's made of. He will make this a night no one will forget, and it's all his, no matter what Val says.
