Thank you for sharing your beautiful adventure!!! Really, Jesse, you're everyone's personal tour guide to places most of us will never see ourselves!!! 🎉😂❤ From a California friend 🎉
Excellent videography, it looks like you're entering pure unadulterated nature. I can feel the warmth, and see the glistening sunlight through this video.
Love ur beautiful videos❤ As u are professional hiker after meghalaya u must have to go Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh for so many surreal beautiful treks in Himalayan ranges, Valleys, Rivers, Frozen river trek, Flower valley and many more. Winter in india so best time to explore this places. 🇮🇳❤🇺🇸
They are not milking you brother with the entry fees. These villages barely receives any fund from the government but through that money they were able to built, maintain, and keep it clean. The other point is that those cement paths you are walking on, the tools required to build them are being carried physically by men not by helicopter. Anyway welcome to Meghalaya.
Its true almost 85 % of the khasis are now christians and only 15% are following the traditional religion known as seng khasi or niamtre in jaintia hills...there is many aspect of our culture is lost..like in terms of festival ,belief system, ethics in everyday life ,ruling system....
"Absolutely loved your coverage of these hidden gems! 🙌 It's refreshing to see creators go beyond the usual tourist spots like Jaipur, Agra, and Delhi to showcase the real essence of India. You've truly captured the soul of the country through its diverse cultures, landscapes, and people. Looking forward to more such authentic and offbeat explorations in the future! Keep up the amazing work! 🌟👏"
The thing that you said about missionary conversion, my friend that thought process itself is what makes you a good human and a true christian. No hate, just love and respect for all, this is what we all Hindus believe as well. So now you got a new subscriber. Namaste.
its sucks that everywhere you visit there are charges, but hey it is what it is,,,the ancient khasi people has so much more insights to share to the world, you will be amaze of their ingenuity and knowledge. Keep them videos coming.
There are 1,580 Caves have been identified so far in Meghalaya State of India, of which 980 caves have explored so far, hence Meghalaya is also known as "Land of Caves". Krem Liat Prah Cave is the longest cave located in India. Krem Chympe, Wari Chora and Krang Suri are three beautiful Cave Waterfalls in Meghalaya State.

Lovely @Jesse. Very nice trek. Double Decker root bridges are truly a sight to behold. Next do complete the Bulls Trek, Mawrynkhang bamboo trek, Wari chora trek, Siju cave, etc. They are amazing. Welcome to Northeast India 💕💕🩷🩷
@@JesseStLouis go to chympe falls explore the chympe cave as well it's a beautiful cave you can swim inside the cave as well but the water is very cold inside the cave😅. Don't go alone you will be lost hire some local cave experts.
As an indigenous, I do believe that the people carried those cement bags all throughout the way and built those steps through sheer hard work and back pains. Also, on the point of different villages taking their own entry fees is because each village is responsible for maintaining their individual areas i.e., maintaining cleanliness, ensure nothing along the path is faulty or dangerous and also maybe just an annoyance fee because yes, people are walking just behind your back yards! 😅😂 If you are still in Meghalaya, i do suggest you go on the bamboo trek in Wahkhen village because you will feel much awe at the hard work needed to complete that path!
Some people who do not have an ounce of common sense came in the middle of monsoons & got into the water & then out of nowhere there was a cloudburst in the upstream of the river & a huge flash flood came & swept them away. Their bodies were found 3 days later in Bangladesh
The last time i went to rainbow falls we were able to get in the water. But in recent years many people have drowned there so that must be why they have prohibited swimming
The entire North East and Sikkim are actually the cleanest parts of India. Mizoram goes a step further where they don't honk in traffic in the state capital city of Aizawl
