- Nairobi National Park is the ONLY national park in the world to be within city boundaries. Making this a must do if you are visiting Nairobi, Kenya. We decided to get up early to make it into the park for sunrise and what we saw didn't disappoint.
We love safaris, if you've watched our most recent travel vlogs from south africa, you'll see that. So we couldn't wait to go on our FIRST KENYAN Safari. We can comfortably put Nairobi National Park on our lists of things to do in Kenya.
We had fantastic sightings while on Safari in this unique and beautiful national park. From seeing tons of buck, giraffe, zebra & buffalo on the plains, to having close encounters with Lions and Rhinos its safe to say that were not disappointed in our sightings on our first Kenyan Safari.
If you need any encouragement to visit Kenya, look no further than access to the amazing wildlife. Nairobi has TONS of other things to, don't get us wrong, from amazing restaurants to how simply fantastic the Kenyan people are, but the national parks are special. The sheer number of animals you can easily see just a 20 minute drive from the city is a unique experience that you can't get anywhere else in the world. Making Safaris in Nairobi Kenya unmissable if you are visiting Kenya.

I really love this vlog...you guys did this park justice most pple don't rate it because it's not really the greatest when compared to the mara, ol pejeta, amboseli or the tsavo but it's a really nice place...I've been watching this over and over because I'm now realizing that it's a great park for the pple of Nairobi...most Nairobians would rather go for roadtrips to nakuru or naivasha or even to the mountains in central kenya and they tend to ignore what's really close to them
Exactly! This park is so majestic! And so close to the city! Can easily spend half a day in the park! We highly recommend going before sunrise! It was very special seeing it at that time!
