Them initially calling Airkenya's Dash 7 a teeny tiny aircraft was just hilarious to me. FYI for anyone who doesn't know, they are 50+ seater, quadruple engine aircrafts, with insane range!
BTW, that going through the airport fast isn’t always you were there during the low season in summer it’s bad cause everyone is flying in. I was there in Nov and it was super smooth through the airport no stress at all. Kenya is just Kenya, it’s just incomparable Kenya
I'm excited for you guys & what will definitely be a special experience for the both of you. I was lucky enough to go to Maasai Mara back in 2019 & it's definitely one of if not the most special week of my life. Having been born & raised here in Nairobi it's a bit of a shame that it took me till I was in my 20s to experience that but I'm glad I did. Of all the animals I was hoping to see, the only one I missed out on was the leopard as I've only seen those in an orphanage but I wasn't too bummed out about that as they're obviously very elusive. The best moment of my trip though, had to be on one of our game drives where we got to step out of our tour van & got to walk up to this section of the Mara where some of the last White Rhinos were & we managed to walk a few feet away from them as the rangers guided us through the entire thing. It was definitely bittersweet though considering the plight of the White Rhinos.
