I played with the Refined Power mod once upon a time ago, and if memory serves, there is a setting where you can make the wind turbines not fluctuate power. So instead of the turbines going up and down dependant upon wind strength, they're just constant.
Also, check to see if the wind turbines have a distance metric. They have to be X distance away from each other in order to have full strength to them.

Btw, the conditioner takes 30/m, 50 was the machine buffer. So the ratio is 1 extractor to 2 conditioners. As for refined power, it's fun but machines are expensive, so if you want to build a large plant it'll take a while (and quite a bit of space). In the meantime, you can send the automated biomass to the usual biomass burners. Also look for the alternate recipes, there's some interesting stuff, including one that is great for power.
As for wind power, I find it very useful early on to reduce consumption of solid biofuel. Once you automate biomass it's not as interesting anymore imho.

FY:I You don't need to merge the outputs of the miner. the production from one side will go into the other if the slot is full. So if you have 2x30/min and one slot is fill the other become 60/min (not shown in the UI yet)

Because the fluid conditioner's output is deterministic you can sort the output with splitters to get the biomass and leaves going to different routes.
But just get the smart splitter.
100%, I've already placed 5 conditioners, to maximise the pipe input, with smart splitters on the output, that then going into a constructor, with the biomass being bypassed and merging with the the output of the constructor
@@ItsBitz I ended up building sets of 5 boiler/generator combos to better match belt and pipe limits of the early game. I didn't blueprint that basic layout until about 60,000MW of installed generation working between coal, oil (go byproducts), and the bio mass. Don't be like me.
Also with the fluid conditioner having a water output look forward to trying to do a black start when you pop a fuse and have too much water because the boilers drop heat when not running. I'd strongly suggest including an even distribution for their fuel rather than manifold if you think you are at risk of ever having a blackout.

@22:06 You can do something to visually separate them before you get signs and painting by dropping a single item of what goes into the container either on the ground in front of it or near the edge on top. Then you don't need to check every time.

I havent tried Satisfactory Plus yet. I may have to give it a try after watching you :)
glad to see i'm not the only one that experiences glitches with button inputs form time to time.
Is it possible to play this in a 3rd person or overhead view? Is there a mod for that if not? I've played a bit of it and enjoyed it, but I just find the view nauseating and planning and building a factory in first person and getting things laid out properly and lined up etc is just way more difficult and less intuitive. I've got hundreds of hours in Factorio and thousands of hours in DSP and would love to sink a load of time into this.
Also, I believe the default key for the codex is the "o" key
What are you supposed to do with all of the concrete byproducts?
I know this is a mental defect on my part, but know what I'd love from a Satisfactory mod? Making it all magic themed. If you take two identical games and one if Fantasy, the other SciFi, I will like the Fantasy one more lol.

What version of the SF+ mod are you using? I was offered 0.10.6 when installing via SMM and in Tier 2 there is no 50 Slot Inventory milestone.

Im angry about the sole coal node that is getting removed. Its my current source of coal for my power plant... Time to flip a conveyor and use a nodemacross the water.

the default Codex button is "O" to look at recipes and such since you asked for it in comments (your "L")
But what he showed is not the Codex, but the in-game wiki, which comes with SF+ mod. I believe the default wiki keybind is indeed "L".
The wiki is a bit more convenient than the codex, it allows you to easily navigate between the recipes ("where is this produced? click!", "where can i use it? click!")

Why is everyone i watch so obsessed with being compact on a game with practically infinite space? Factorio players make things as tiny as they can even though it sometimes is better to space things out. Its even worse on satisfactory. I just dont understand it.
