      Thanks buddy!! That's just one option of what to put on there but i suggest foam pumpkins as i put real ones on mine a few years ago and some brats used them as baseballs against my tombstones.. so yeah no real pumpkins on the pillars

    I'm not sure why you didn't run the cutter down the side of a metal ruler to ensure perfectly straight lines?? I have a 1 metre level that I use, sounds like you also need some bug spray. And if it's that hot are there not fire restrictions?? I hope in your class you explain how to best find the centre, put your straight edge across diagonally and put a small line about the centre,when you do the opposite diagonal you should end up with a cross in the centre. Make your hole, then put your pipe through the centre of the post and base to mark, but really, put the adhesive on the bottom of the post rather than guessing where it should go on the base??? You mentioned you would put info in the description?? Regardless, nice job, cool paint technique. If only i had room for storage!!

      haunters never worry about straight lines or centering. the pieces in the middle keep the pipe straight and its enough to keep them upright in the wind!! have had mine for many years now and they are still standing straight! I teach my classes based on years of taking and giving classes and i know how most home haunters build stuff and how we learn and i can tell you most of us would guess where the thing lines up when we do the adhesive haha

      Will you be there next year?

      @@MrLightningFlame not likely. I'm moving to Dallas early next summer. They have some stuff to work on for sure, so we'll see how they respond to the feedback. Looked good for a first year show and it's promising to have something new and fresh for halloween.

    Where did you buy the pumpkin heads?

      i didn't use the pumpkins, that was the HGTV pic i used. i would only use fake pumpkins on the top but ensure they are attached well for wind.

    Sorry I may have missed it but what is the purpose of the pole through the center?

      I know in the Midwest we get a lot of wind during this time of year

    • @ScareHollow
      @ScareHollow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      its to ensure it stays up straight and doesn't rip the foam. If you just put rebar through the foam it will move in the wind and then the hole will get even bigger and then it will not be straight after a while
