@@dingo1817 This is just wrong though. You get the screwdriver from the set room, not from the prop room. And you can't get stuck there, because pressing the second chance button rewinds the game to before Nancy enters Rick's room, which gives you an opportunity to find the screwdriver before entering the room.
Oh yeah, almost forgot my favorite one! At the start of the game, Mattie says "come on in, Nancy. The door's open!". You live in NYC, *and* you're a famous actress. You'd have that place locked up six ways from Sunday at all times. That line made my dad (who was born and raised in Queens) totally crack up.

At 4:29, that tiny package was the worst thing ever! They hid it so well, that my sisters and I could literally not find it. We didn't have internet or access to internet at school, so our parents had to order us a strategy guide for this game for Christmas and we didn't get to beat it until 3 months after we had started it. It felt like a waste of money cause, after finding the package, we basically beat the game in about 10 minutes.
I saw this in my subscription feed first thing this morning, and I instantly thought, "YES!!" I watch a fair amount of TH-cam, but this is far and away my favourite series, thank you so much for continuing to make these! I'm surprised you didn't sin Dwayne's "slowly walk towards Nancy with curled fingers" method of killing Nancy, though. Sure, it's creepy, especially in a relatively tame point-and-click game, but it's also an extremely impractical way of disposing with someone.
Okay, but can we talk about how lowkey terrifying the kill scene with Dwayne was? He creeps towards you, with a red glow to his figure, while evily laughing, and the scene ends when he's right before you, and Nany's whimpering "no, NO!" Like shit lowkey tramuatized me.
Out of alllll the ND games I played (13) this was the ONLY one I couldn't solve! Now that you mentioned the game comes to a screeching halt if you don't see that tiny package it makes sense. I replayed this game over and over when I was younger and always got stuck at the SAME spot. So frustrating!
I would think Mattie consistently losing her keys would be a sin. It's a wonder there hasn't been a break-in to her apartment. Although, maybe that's how the alarm clock showed up in the parlor without her noticing.

Millie is not a pointless character. You can talk with her multiple times about various subjects just like anyone else. However, you made a mistake in your walkthrough by not taking all four items from the prop room. If you miss one, she glitches out, as the game believes that you need to have the doorknob in your inventory in order to progress normally.
There is a hint on the clock puzzle. If you look through the television camera that is pointed at the clock, you will notice a faded line on the clock face that indicates where you are supposed to put the hands.
What year is this supposed to be? The calendar in Mattie's apartment is a 1998 calendar, but her award says she was Best Actress of 1999. The next time November started on a Sunday was 2009.
I think Dwayne's flying third class. One that always bugged me: Owen Spayder is listed in the credits with his own voice actor, yet there's nothing said by him at any point. Unless I've totally missed something in 19 years of playing this. He has a phone number, but like every number except Dwayne's and Sopreza Chocolates, it's useless. And there is a clue to the clock puzzle, it's just easily overlooked. If you look at the camera pointed at the clock, it shows you that it should be at 11:00.
I replayed this game today, and the problem I had was that if you miss any of the necessary items (like the wire cutters under the map) in the prop room, you CANNOT go back into the prop room because Millie kicks you out! You either have to wait until 6PM at the studio and use the doorknob or you have to restart the game. I tried waiting, but it was taking FOREVER so I restarted the game.
