This is an example of a case when it is very easy to get lost in damage charts while trying to compare two operators, so I generally use this rule of thumb when comparing Schwarz and Pozyomka: 1.- If we don't include the typewriter, Schwarz will always win. Even Schwarz S2 beats out Pozyomka S3 while the latter is aiming at an enemy directly in front of her. This effectively means that Schwarz will always have the better range when alone - It's just a matter of choosing between S2 or S3. 2.- If we do include the typewriter attacking the same target, Pozyomka will always win before we reach around the 2000 def mark. The typewriter will always be available during her S3's burst window, totaling better ST damage than Schwarz. In conclusion: - Pozyomka is better at holding a single lane than Schwarz is. - She can also hold two lanes at the same time, albeit with a lower damage than Schwarz would do defending each one of them separately. - However, if you are required to hold different lanes at different times, Schwarz is better. Her redeployment time is a lot lower than Pozyomka's, and she still benefits the rest of the squad with her talent while on CD. This means that Pozyomka is better in "static" maps. If the main enemy wave constantly changes - Such as chapter 9 pillar maps, H8-3, or IW-EX-8, Schwarz will be better.
Ik it’s gonna sound stupid but. Why not use both. Like since pozyomka type writer can be deployed and is basically another pozyomka. She can use her third skill while schwarz use her skill as well and can both hit the same target. Plus with the added buff from schwarz. I see as an absolute win
After the SpAlter banner I'm definitely saving up for S̶u̶n̶d̶o̶w̶n̶e̶r̶ Gavial Alter. She's carried me as a Medic from the beginning all the way to now, so getting her is a must for me.
another point I'd like to add for the pozyomka/schwarz comparison: pozyomka's typewriter is both her advantage and weakness. it makes her more versatile, but on maps where there are no good tiles for the typewriter she has less total damage than schwarz

ebenholz is probably the most frustrating operator balance wise cause if he just maxed his stacks before attacking it would fix all his problems right now you have to hope the bosses arent sleep immune
@@Pika-sp9cs well many bosses probably have extreme weight, not allowing you to push them, and with regular enemies if you use Weedy S3 they will probably die from her skill right away
@@Pika-sp9cs better ideas: use kafka or Buff army since Ebenholz talents and S3 damage increase allows him to 1 shoot almost any boss once all of his charges are stored, so better get ready your warfarin, pramanix and ifrit if necessary
How to fix his S3: Apply fragile/res shred/some other status effect to target. Doesn't attack enemies affected by this skill's effect. That's it. Allows him to build stacks against bosses and adds some utility for fun as well. If the rider is too strong you could just put a marker that does nothing on the enemy for the same effect.
Definitely going for Ebenholz, his design is neat so is his e2 art. Plus, i really need him for LE event story for one "specific" reason, if you know you know Edit: put quotation marks on the wrong word, english is sometimes confusing kekw

Shoot, honestly all of these operators seem very fun and interesting to use, especially Ebenholz and Pozyomka to me. It's gonna be rough saving for all these operators.
I have a bit of a problem with the Pozyomka section, not sure if I'm being too picky Arknights balancing have been kind of iffy recently, and Pozyomka exemplifies that greatly there have been a couple of double Archetypes Holder Coexisting peacefully such as [Thorns/Silverash] [Exia/Ash/Cheetos] [Angelina/Suzuran/"Gnosis"(to some extent)] but Pozyomka kit is so ridiculous in the scheme of things, because Schwarz niche wasn't dead/weak in the first place, far from that it excelled greatly when you needed that high single target burst, while Pozyomka also does it... but better 1. Schwarz does better against High defense enemies! A : While that is true, This is mostly misleading, because there's almost no enemies in the game [Story/Event] that have enough defense to actually make use of Schwarz High DPH to pierce their defense thus making her deal higher damage against said High Defense Enemies (Enemies need to have around 2K+ DEFENSE for Schwarz to actually start out DPSing Pozyomka "alone", which is an insanely High amount of DEF) exception being CC because they vary wildly 2. Schwarz has that unique range to still edge out A : While yes, Schwarz range is still highly effective and that +1 Tile do make a difference in some cases, this just disregards that Pozyomka have only 1 Tile less than Schwarz [4 vs 3 Tile Forward] BUT she still somehow holds the 3 Tiles to the left and right side for a total of 6 Tiles which quite frankly probably holds more value than exchanging 1 Tile, there's many maps where you use Schwarz S3 to kind of consistently burst snipe high threat enemies, but how many shots you're getting is once again dependent on the enemy being mostly in range ie them moving up/down from her straight line, making this skill (kind of) map dependent (kinda, not really, s3 is just strong lol) while Pozyomka doesn't suffer from this issue, and if it does become a range issue she just has an invincible summon to "extend" her range for some reason, this doesn't help the fact that Pozymka shoots Twice as fast than Schwarz does (not including Typerwriter) meaning the amount of shots being done effectively within range will be a lot higher 3. Schwarz Defense Reduce Talent? Nitpick : Pozyomka Typewriter whilst not having the chance to crit like Schwarz, in essence just holds the same amount of Defense reduction Schwarz has (Both are 20% Reduction if Pozyomka has max pot) but it also has a stronger reduction when in the 4 Adjacent tile from Pozyomka (25%), And all of TW attack inflicts the debuff while Schwarz needs her skill 3 to be active to Increase the chance to 100% 4. Typewriter! A : This is the most egregious part, her summon essentially doubles her damage whilst costing only 5DP, No Deployment Slot, is deployable anywhere in the map (of course it has to be ranged tile though), Invincible (Like Skadi Seaborn), Has the same range as Schwarz S3 (4 TILES FORWARD) when skill 3 is active. WHY? No "Non-Summon" deployable should be doing this much damage but somehow it does??? Conclusion, does this mean that Schwarz is bad or just worse than Pozyomka? no. because Schwarz was never bad, she was already good in the first place, With her Module she gives Snipers attack buff just by being in the Squad, She also now has a weird niche of Semi Fast Redeploy from her module, which honestly isn't bad (Ignoring that Typewriter is also a Fast Redeploy with 5 Second Faster Redeployment time and doesn't take up a deployment slot) Then why am I writing this all out? because whilst both of them seems to hold different niche and kits, they mostly do the same big red numbers as they are supposed to, but Pozyomka edges out in almost every scenario, which is alarming honestly "Just use them together, why are you comparing both of them in the first place?" you're clearly missing the point if you say this to previse this again, I still use Schwarz, she's a great unit to have and is really powerful, but Pozyomka is stepping on her toes a little bit too much, essentially doing the same Job but better, to basically just summarize it as "Both are good" is a little weird to me that's it, great video otherwise, love your vids Yii
Not only all of that but they also gave her dodge ignore with her module, that was one of the only things keeping Fartooth distinct from her peers but Hypergryph seems hell bent on having ops keep stepping on each others’ toes.
@@magiccaster4587 I find this not as much of a problem than my original stance on it, i wanted to write about it at first on the post but i refrained there's just too much enemies pumped with dodge now that we need some variation tbh, and this dodge ignore is in tandem with the archetype original trait "High Accuracy Point blank shot" and Schwarz second module will also have the Dodge Ignore + The Damage Multiplier Talent so I just didn't care as much at that point i just think it's f up, that a summon is dealing Schwarz Level damage, Pozy is basically bringing 2 Schwarz it's insane
@@Ginko77 I recalled someone saying Schwarz had had it in one of her modules too but it slipped my mind, I think it’s even worse in her case since she has such similar usage to Fartooth both in terms of range, skill cycling, and being high damage / low aspd. Really I think the big problem (which you highlighted perfectly while talking about her absurd typewriter) is the effort needed to put in to maximize damage. Fartooth has such stringent requirements in comparison to an op like Pozyomka who can just shit out damage without many downsides, the same goes for widely considered game breaking ops like Surtr, Ch’alter, Ling, etc etc. Ops like Fartooth (or Ebenholz since he’s mentioned in the video) would be more viable if everyone required the same amount of care put into them.
@Derrick Cheow I agree in theory, I just think it’s bad when the two examples of ops getting it recently involve a long-standing amazing op and her new direct counterpart with an already insanely versatile kit. The gap between the best ops and the mediocre / bad ones just widens more and more with modules and giving them dodge ignore just worsens said issue. Provence needed dodge ignore, not Schwarz or Pozyomka.
The catch with Pozy's S2 is that you can't use it if she don't have a target herself, wich IMO reduce the versatility her typewritter CD reduction provide.
Just saying pozykmka s3 deals a bunch of damage is probably not enough... Chalter might be a good reference point. The expected damage of chalter is 106320, while poz s3 is ~144000, and 120k when not directly at front (assuming everything is maxed outed) with 1.5+ times dps. (I know chalter targets multiple, but she does have one of the best damage even when targeting single enemy) Where she really shines is in Integrated Strategies, the typewriter itself can deal with most of 3rd level bosses and most elites, also she can kill the 5th level bosses without too much Relics. (ignore doges, enough damage for the lock, and typewriter could just re-deploy every 30s for Troupe Mouthpiece). And for gavial, the interesting part is that the S2 lasts 40s for every 35s cd. So imagine if you have another short cd long duration skill. (basically Unlimited duration)
Gavial and Pozyomka are the best ones to pull out of the 4 of them, considering they are on the same banner, you're gonna need a lot of pulls unless you're super lucky. Both of them are also pretty strong but unfortunately even with their strength combined they still can't beat Goku.

In terms of all banners from this list Ebenholz is my top priority. He’s a husbando and in a way mini W with skill 2. I’d say this is his bread and butter. kill 3 seems meh, once charges are gone it’s questionable. However yes you can use sleepers to fix his charge thing. And priority on elite is interesting, I’ll probably m6
Gavial is just blaze but if you simply want to burst rush. While blaze is simply just don’t do anything and let the magic happen. Either way both are unique and still usable to some aspect. Hell just use gavial s2 and have blaze behind with s2 so gavial can pull enemies while blaze grinds them up as well. Absolute chainsaw win
All these operators look great, I'm pretty interested in Dorothy her kit seems interesting. I'm broke right now Namie got all my orundum in Goldenglow banner lol 😆, won't have much for specter alter.

Schwarz or Pozyomka is a question that can be answered with me finding the exact tile where an enemy can be speedran without external buffs basically both leads to really funny numbers but is hard to actually get working in a few cases
Watching this vid again, good to see how useful Pozy's typewritter being immune to debuffs can be on this Break the ice rerun lol, this thing almost solo'ed Degen.
Even though the editing looks clean, the mish mash style of clean text and animations on the skills section and the funni low effort on the introduction skit kinda makes the video less astetically consistant, I think it's best if you pick one style and stay consistent or find a good in-between, anyways, just some food for thought. Ever since Great Chief Return I've replaced my Shining with Gavial, so I'm just as excited to pull for her. Also just think of the tanking potential of Gater's S3 and Skalter S1. Just casually 75% damage reduction. Perfectly balanced.
I've seen Ebenholz S2 used for some fun stuff in IS2 but that's the only reason I'd pull him. The rest look fine but honestly nothing strikes me as hard as these last 6 months have. :pain:

In case anyone cares, a couple translation webs I've checked claim that Позёмка is pronounced in Ursus as something that I only know how to transcribe as "paziomka". Take it with a grain of salt, and keep in mind that my native language is Spanish when reading it.
honestly 4k arts dmg in 13 sp is pretty big tbh and its also aoe as well we just need to place a dollkeeper to stall the enemies so that eben can prep up the stacks
but honestly just 1 stack spawning and dealing 4k arts dmg is already big tho bc there are most 5 star and 6 star aoe and chain casters that deal way less (mostima,passenger,etc,).
i feel like hg shouldve made it so that ebenholzs s3 made it so that he couldnt atk until he was at max charges. that would take advantage of his subclass trait and his added atk speed from the skill.
cmon hypergryph. 3rd module for ebenholz just has to say "only attacks at max charges" and he is the burst mashine with his S3 and can actually benefit properly from the even further increased stored-attack power. If i wanted splash dmg i would take an aoe caster...

A : While yes, Schwarz range is still highly effective and that +1 Tile do make a difference in some cases, this just disregards that Pozyomka have only 1 Tile less than Schwarz [4 vs 3 Tile Forward] BUT she still somehow holds the 3 Tiles to the left and right side for a total of 6 Tiles which quite frankly probably holds more value than exchanging 1 Tile, there's many maps where you use Schwarz S3 to kind of consistently burst snipe high threat enemies, but how many shots you're getting is once again dependent on the enemy being mostly in range ie them moving up/down from her straight line, making this skill (kind of) map dependent (kinda, not really, s3 is just strong lol) while Pozyomka doesn't suffer from this issue, and if it does become a range issue she just has an invincible summon to "extend" her range for some reason, this doesn't help the fact that Pozymka shoots Twice as fast than Schwarz does (not including Typerwriter) meaning the amount of shots being done effectively within range will be a lot higher
3. Schwarz Defense Reduce Talent?
Nitpick : Pozyomka Typewriter whilst not having the chance to crit like Schwarz, in essence just holds the same amount of Defense reduction Schwarz has (Both are 20% Reduction if Pozyomka has max pot) but it also has a stronger reduction when in the 4 Adjacent tile from Pozyomka (25%), And all of TW attack inflicts the debuff while Schwarz needs her skill 3 to be active to Increase the chance to 100%
4. Typewriter!
A : This is the most egregious part, her summon essentially doubles her damage whilst costing only 5DP, No Deployment Slot, is deployable anywhere in the map (of course it has to be ranged tile though), Invincible (Like Skadi Seaborn), Has the same range as Schwarz S3 (4 TILES FORWARD) when skill 3 is active. WHY?
No "Non-Summon" deployable should be doing this much damage but somehow it does???
Conclusion,
does this mean that Schwarz is bad or just worse than Pozyomka? no.
because Schwarz was never bad, she was already good in the first place, With her Module she gives Snipers attack buff just by being in the Squad, She also now has a weird niche of Semi Fast Redeploy from her module, which honestly isn't bad (Ignoring that Typewriter is also a Fast Redeploy with 5 Second Faster Redeployment time and doesn't take up a deployment slot)
Then why am I writing this all out? because whilst both of them seems to hold different niche and kits, they mostly do the same big red numbers as they are supposed to, but Pozyomka edges out in almost every scenario, which is alarming honestly

Not only all of that but they also gave her dodge ignore with her module, that was one of the only things keeping Fartooth distinct from her peers but Hypergryph seems hell bent on having ops keep stepping on each others’ toes.

there's just too much enemies pumped with dodge now that we need some variation tbh, and this dodge ignore is in tandem with the archetype original trait "High Accuracy Point blank shot"
and Schwarz second module will also have the Dodge Ignore + The Damage Multiplier Talent
so I just didn't care as much at that point
i just think it's f up, that a summon is dealing Schwarz Level damage, Pozy is basically bringing 2 Schwarz it's insane
@@Ginko77 I recalled someone saying Schwarz had had it in one of her modules too but it slipped my mind, I think it’s even worse in her case since she has such similar usage to Fartooth both in terms of range, skill cycling, and being high damage / low aspd.
Really I think the big problem (which you highlighted perfectly while talking about her absurd typewriter) is the effort needed to put in to maximize damage. Fartooth has such stringent requirements in comparison to an op like Pozyomka who can just shit out damage without many downsides, the same goes for widely considered game breaking ops like Surtr, Ch’alter, Ling, etc etc. Ops like Fartooth (or Ebenholz since he’s mentioned in the video) would be more viable if everyone required the same amount of care put into them.
@Derrick Cheow I agree in theory, I just think it’s bad when the two examples of ops getting it recently involve a long-standing amazing op and her new direct counterpart with an already insanely versatile kit. The gap between the best ops and the mediocre / bad ones just widens more and more with modules and giving them dodge ignore just worsens said issue. Provence needed dodge ignore, not Schwarz or Pozyomka.

The catch with Pozy's S2 is that you can't use it if she don't have a target herself, wich IMO reduce the versatility her typewritter CD reduction provide.
Just saying pozykmka s3 deals a bunch of damage is probably not enough... Chalter might be a good reference point. The expected damage of chalter is 106320, while poz s3 is ~144000, and 120k when not directly at front (assuming everything is maxed outed) with 1.5+ times dps. (I know chalter targets multiple, but she does have one of the best damage even when targeting single enemy)
Where she really shines is in Integrated Strategies, the typewriter itself can deal with most of 3rd level bosses and most elites, also she can kill the 5th level bosses without too much Relics. (ignore doges, enough damage for the lock, and typewriter could just re-deploy every 30s for Troupe Mouthpiece).
And for gavial, the interesting part is that the S2 lasts 40s for every 35s cd. So imagine if you have another short cd long duration skill. (basically Unlimited duration)

Gavial and Pozyomka are the best ones to pull out of the 4 of them, considering they are on the same banner, you're gonna need a lot of pulls unless you're super lucky.
Both of them are also pretty strong but unfortunately even with their strength combined they still can't beat Goku.

I’d say this is his bread and butter. kill 3 seems meh, once charges are gone it’s questionable. However yes you can use sleepers to fix his charge thing. Gavial is just blaze but if you simply want to burst rush. While blaze is simply just don’t do anything and let the magic happen. Either way both are unique and still usable to some aspect. Hell just use gavial s2 and have blaze behind with s2 so gavial can pull enemies while blaze grinds them up as well. Absolute chainsaw win

Schwarz or Pozyomka is a question that can be answered with me finding the exact tile where an enemy can be speedran without external buffs
basically both leads to really funny numbers but is hard to actually get working in a few cases
Watching this vid again, good to see how useful Pozy's typewritter being immune to debuffs can be on this Break the ice rerun lol, this thing almost solo'ed Degen.
Even though the editing looks clean, the mish mash style of clean text and animations on the skills section and the funni low effort on the introduction skit kinda makes the video less astetically consistant, I think it's best if you pick one style and stay consistent or find a good in-between, anyways, just some food for thought. Great video as always!

honestly 4k arts dmg in 13 sp is pretty big tbh and its also aoe as well we just need to place a dollkeeper to stall the enemies so that eben can prep up the stacks
but honestly just 1 stack spawning and dealing 4k arts dmg is already big tho bc there are most 5 star and 6 star aoe and chain casters that deal way less (mostima,passenger,etc,).
