Well at least his parents aren’t mindless ravagers. They were completely docile around the Bat family and Harley’s crew, and were willing to cooperate with Bruce. Sadly, I can’t say the same for all the others.

We thought we were gonna see the zombies from the comic book story DCeased,and we thought Queen of Fables,Scarecrow,Mr.Freeze,and Penguin were going to return as zombies.
It's like the writers gave Nightwing his "always a suck up to Batman" attitude during his early years as robin and implemented that into this version which kinda defeats the purpose of Dick becoming Nightwing in the first place
Not in every version. In The Brave and the Bold he didn't became Nightwing until lomg after reconciling with Bruce. Oh, and in the 2004 show there wasn't any rift between them in the first place.
I mean, it fits with what we've seen of him in the show. In the episode he was introduced, we learned that he did go at it on his own after differences with Batman, and he feels embarrassed to come crawling back after things didn't go well for him. In spite of his differences, he still sees Batman as this unfailing superhero and stresses over living up to this impossible standard he's comparing himself to. Batwoman got him to stop stressing over things and work with the team again, but that kind of just shifted things from "Batman is an impossibly high standard I need to surpass" to "Batman is perfect and shouldn't be doubted". Maybe now that Batman has been humanized in his eyes we'll see another shift.
The thing I love about this show is that doesn’t shy away from the fact that Batman IS just as crazy as the villains he fights. With several members of his rogue’s gallery being killed (Mr. Freeze, Penguin, Scarecrow, Mad Hatter) and Selina NOT wanting to advance their relationship instead of vice versa, he’s losing control of the elements in his life that’s keeping him grounded. Even before this episode Batman is basically a man child around Alfred and acts spoiled around him. He’s used to getting everything the way he wants and with everything not going his way, he’s nearly as insane as the Arkham inmates.
I like this Bruce with flaws. He is just as human as the rest of us and prone to breaking down and doing some crazy shit. Doesn't mean he is a bad person, he owns up to what he did later in the episode and does what he can to make it right. He isn't perfect. He is a human being that was pushed too far but realized his error and did what he could to fix it. I wasn't sure about this show when it first came out, but it is great. It is like an abridged series that is still true to the characters. Like a teamfourstar production. Goofy and hilarious parody of the characters, but still true to who they are deep inside.
