Amazing, clearly a labour of love, with an intent to render a deeply personal instrument. SRM Max Richter is another new one like that, Nils Frahm Noire is a classic too. Just bought this in the sales, after trying a few. As well as being one of the best sounding, it's also one of the most versatile.
love this so much! amazing! the attention to detail and depth in this is mind blowing! only thing that i would love to see different is a proprietary midi/vst engine. Kontakt is a very in-affordable and non user friendly system to use! there are other vsts that have this and are roughly the same cost.
"can be used with Kontakt’s Free Player - no need to buy the full version of Kontakt to use GGD" I agree that Kontakt sucks though lol, but you don't have to buy it.
hehe My fav part is the Cubase in the Computer sampling away. muuaahahaha... Now I have Benny and Phillips in my computer to play for me whenever I need unique powerful drums. 3 weeks ago I was hoping to find Benny Samples somewhere and then I see this.... THANK YOU!
Like the concept of this. I have a question though, I have an EAD10 which I can upload wav files to it. Are you able to grab the wav files from GGD and be able to use my EAD10 or do you need to have to use a DAW? Thanks :)
9:47 Look how happy Nolly is! Just look at him!! 😄 Makes me happy too
Nolly loves good drummers, and Benny is one of the best!

Perfect. I've always felt like Benny has had the greatest drum sound. Gavin Harrison is another one, a bit more melodic variation.
Yes, finally, GGD Smash and Greb!
now with the 16" Kick and the really high snare, plus if you use the toms from Invasion, well now you got yourself a nice death-metal kit :D
As long as we get both the quirks AND features... THIS... will be a killer library @9:50 🚗🤷

ngl it sounds like THE OLD SCHOOL contrast to that of OKW Modern Fusion. Also nice to see Plini finally "playing along" with Benny Greb lol.
