The SVJ has better suspension system (aero upgrade package), because the flexing on the SVJ during launch control is more timely accurate and far more responsive than on the SV.
Why didn't you just do a roll race. And not doing a 3rd run cause of the "clutch"? Really bro? You can bang a Honda, nissan, acura, lexus, bmw all day long but not a Lamborghini cause of a "clutch"?lol okay bro cool story
The weight difference presented is roughly 200kg. Simply impossible either of the weight is quoted too high or too low. SV can't be 200kg lighter than svj.

Much prefer how the SV looks over the SVJ. SVJ looks too Mansory for my liking, SVs styling looks more cohesive.

Damn they are neck and neck on the 1st run, on the second run that SVJ launched like a Super Saiyan "fighting bull" Super Saiyan off the line, both cars are so gorgeous and are a dream to have. The brutal upshifts on those Aventadors just make the fun a lot more awesome with that loud screaming 6.5L N/A V12 (L539).
I really wish that a rolling run was done, but the race is awesome regardless :D

Not entirely accurate of what the aero does for the SVJ in a straight line. Remember the ALA shines when SVJ is maneuvering around corners. Having said that, The SVJ's ALA will make the wing virtually invisible, so the host also go it wrong since the SV's wing at high speeds is drag--so reasoning is a bit backwards. Great video nonetheless.
DoctaM3 The SVJ’s ALA system opens up under acceleration and closes up when getting off the accelerator and braking. The SV does have a fixed wing and produces drag at high speeds while the SVJ’s ALA is opened up. Anywho Docta u da man btw! Love ya broski!!

You are correct. The The ALA 2.0 system actively varies the aerodynamic load to achieve high downforce or low drag, depending on the dynamic conditions, giving priority to the load in cornering or to low drag on the straight-line. So Christian did get this wrong. What was interesting in this video was that the SV just beat the SVJ in race 1.
The avantador would of been such a different animal if it just had a dual clutch 🤷🏽♂️

truly enjoyed this race, as i am a Huge lambo fan. in the proper conditions/drivers, they can both run mid to low 10's. i imagine these cars with less weight and a DCT.. nothing more beautiful than the Aventador. i just subscribed.

That’s dry weight. Motor Trend weighed the Aventador LP700-4 curb weight at 1,730kg, and the SV and SVJ are 50kg lighter. So the SVJ should weigh 1,680kg.

I mean, first race they had started same time. If the SVJ was that much faster, it would’ve pulled.
Second race, SVJ slight jump, and even when it was ahead, we can see that it was actually barely pulling. Once they both get going, there’s actually not much difference.
The SVJ is the ULTIMATE Sv and does tracks way faster than that car. Tf you mean the SVJ ugly? They are the same fuckin car

I had a feeling the SV was faster, plus it sounds better...the extra aero on the SVJ creates more drag I assume
The SVJ has the ALA system, during full acceleration the wing is basically gone.

During the second race you can see the SVJ slowing going further ahead of the SV. The SVJ is slightly faster.
Yep. Slightly. But note that the SVJ also got the jump in the second race. So they’re not that different. Real difference is on track.

Supercars now a days are so fast that the lines between super and hyper are nearly blurred I mean the first gen aventadors stopped out at 217mph and these can both do 220mhp easily so how fast 8s hypercar fast. I'm starting to think its 230 and up now.
