Nightmare all nightmare just seems impossible... if there's no correlation between laughs, there is no possible way to tell if he's inside the room... it's completely up to chance if you decide to turn around or run tho the door. You just have to be extremely lucky...

so. i just realized that the cutscene where the kid is with his plushies the text that’s talking to him is grey. there is only one person with grey voice lines and that’s the kids brother. so does that mean that at the cut scene the brother was trying to say that he was sorry and it isn’t fredbear that’s talking? keep in mind, fredbears voice is yellow.
Madison no this IS actually his father ik the whole yellow text is supposed to be his father speaking through psychic friend fredbear but the reason why the child (William’s) died was his fault because he made the children including his supposed brother AI just like he did with him self by putting animatronic ennard in them and it tweaked making them kill his son so that end scene was his apology saying that he’s sorry for what he did and will find a way to put him back together again which also means putting his remnant into a mix of other animatronics and he is represented as Shadow or Purple Freddy... correct me if I’m wrong

and to think, theres still 20/20/20/20 all nightmare mode with blind, insta-foxy, and mad freddy.
Granted how hectic normal 20/20/20/20 is, I'd say that's impossible (insta-foxy and blind mode can be dealt with with enough practice, but all nightmare and mad freddy will make you do more actions, you just don't have the time)
and if someone manages to do it, I'll eat my shoe.

The game saw the right door being still closed as bad gameplay, as if you picked the wrong door.

Fun fact: Nightmare mode all Nightmare is exactly the same as 20/20/20/20 mode all nightmare. Nightmarionne's AI level is 20 in Nightmare mode and 20/20/20/20 mode and thus the nights are identical since the other 4 characters are removed in both nights.

No offence to Scott, and I do love this update, but I was a tiny bit dissapointed in the Halloween update. I expected it to add more to the original game and more story to the game but it was really skin changes and some versions of playing. I get that this wasn't meant to be canon to the other games but I still wish this had more meaning :D

Tbf, Nightmare all nightmare mode is easier then regular Nightmare mode. It's still hard, don't get me wrong, but if you know your strategies, Nightmare (or in this case Nightmarionne) is easier to deal with for 6 hours then only having them 2 hours and having to spend the other 4 hours with the main cast on ai level 15 (or 6 for freddy, which is the same ai level he gets in all 20 mode)

This is one of the best things he's ever done. I grew up being scared all my childhood of fnaf. Just because this one guy would constantly play Break My Mind, And as a small child it scared me. Now here I am years later working on memorizing the lore and making a blog about it. Mark thank you for bringing so much meaning to this game for me even years later.

You remember how not having doors was a big selling point of FNAF 2? How that was supposed to make the game scarier? In hindsight, this whole franchise got worse as soon as the doors were removed.
I stand by the fact that what made the first FNAF interesting was that it established a comfort zone and punished people for crawling back into it. The very thing that you thought was protecting you was killing you slowly. The false sense of security is what made everything so terrifying. The simplicity of how you stop them (using the camera and previously said doors) gives plenty of time for dread to kick in. In addition to the doors betraying you with their power sucking ways, your own brain will turn on you a bit. Every sound will give you justification to close that door and waste power.
Fast-forward to this game: there's no comfort zone and therefore no illusion of security, with all the things you have to do there's no time for tension to build, and Scott himself acknowledged that this game's AI is easily predictable when he put a mode in where YOU'RE PLAYING WITH YOUR EYES CLOSED.
where did scott acknowledge that? did i miss something? the reason there is a blind mode is because gameplay is FOCUSING ON HEARING as that is the only way to tell if there is an animatronic... that is the main purpose of the game after all...

+Troy Wullbrandt In a way, every Five Nights at Freddy's game gives off different emotional vibes. Even if the game-play change is very small, it directly affects how the player reacts, such as the first game direct tugging at your paranoia, while the second game stressed many people out due to the increased amount of animatronics.
While at this point the series is just a predictable time-manager, each game has a certain element to trigger a certain emotion in a person. Emotions are what draw people to a game, for example, UnderTale brings on a lot of sympathy and respect for the characters, while FNAF USED to be a game that made you feel trapped and stalked since you had no clue when or where something would pop up.
Developers need to keep in mind that we as an audience become involved when our own emotions are used against us. FNAF had a chance to keep us involved, but to be honest, what we got were a couple of never ending jumpscare fueled IPad apps with puzzling "lore".

The nightmare jump scares aint as creepy as the other ones. I'm talking about the nightmare puppet and nightmare.

I have never actually watched/played alot of the FNAF games, I have finally decided to catch up so I can understand all these memes
I hate how people always dismiss or hate on Springtrap and the Nightmare/Nightmarionne jumpscares because they aren’t “Scary” enough. For Springtrap the horror isn’t “OOGA BOOGA I’M BITING YOUR FACE” as much as it is “You fucked up and now you die.” Which is fitting for him. As for the other two, think about why Golden Freddy was so effective in the first game. Yes it was scary because it made a scary noise, but it wasn’t jumping in your face. It was scary because unlike the others which were just a quick scare, Golden Freddy just stared into you with it’s empty, soulless eyes. It’s the same with both the Nightmares. They aren’t meant to be cheap and scary, they’re meant to be unsettling. Burn the image of their stare into your mind. That’s why they’re arguably scarier. Unlike the others which make you jump, those three just burn themselves into your mind.

i got a FNaF poster, put right beside my bed so i could scare myself, it has the marionette in it, and after watching this, i think I'm gonna sleep somewhere else
i feel like everyone judging the layout of the room forgets that this is literally a nightmare. the hallways are long bc that makes it scarier in the eyes of a child. there are two doors bc, again, that means the animatronics have more than one entry which is scary to a child.

It’s not a nightmare it’s William Afton training his son to be terrified of the animatronics. He made his son hallucinate in his room so that he would never go to the pizzeria since Afton knew that his animatronics in the pizzeria were programmed to kill children - which is why William Afton didn’t mind Michael (the brother) dressing up as foxy and scaring Evan (the crying kid) - because if he’s scaring Evan in the foxy mask he’ll be even more scared to go to the pizzeria (which is why Evan is crying in the pizzeria and doesn’t want to be there in the cutscenes)
