Btw, i used the 2nd chorus where the 1st goes to make it sound better, since the snippet at the Halloween behind wasn't long enough and the Everysing instrumental was so low quality that the transition to the everysing inst. chorus sounded so bad.

For those wondering: I’m pretty sure it’s a marketing thing. SM needed more people to stream the MV for psycho so it could qualify for more awards. By making the MV audio better than the album audio, people would stream the MV to hear it.

no the producer of psycho confirmed that the reason theres two different versions is bc of 'streamer friendliness', they felt the one on spotify/other audio outlets would be easier to stream and have better replayability
@@niitchiin the mv version, there’s a synth sound you can hear in the background during the chorus, seulgi’s prechorus has a heavenly string section. Not everybody might notice it, but the music video version is better for sure
For anyone wondering, the version used at the mv has extra stems that for some reason were cut of the final mix in the album.
it wasn’t cut off tho. it was a last minute add. SM made it like a day before of release.

welp, i doubt that would happen since there's not that much difference with the album version so people would be confused about it. if they release that version, it would be exchanging the current version in the album with this one. and again, i doubt that they would do it sadly.

I know RV never does the same concept twice normally but i speak for everyone when i say we want a Psycho 2.0 typa comeback. Psycho era was too shortlived because of Wendy’s unfortunate accident and since this is the best comeback i have ever heard in Kpop, we need a second one of these. The strings right before Seulgi’s prechorus give me lifeeeee.

something on 1:23 to 1:29 sounds pitched up, and the strings in 3:03 to 3:08 goes away then returns. btw thanks for the inst! i've been looking forward to this for a while.
yeah, the everysing instrumental had a completely different waveform, was low quality + sounded like if it was unmastered for some reason. thats why that part sounds like that, but its the best we've got since sm didn't release the snippet for it in any video.
