Wurkkos TS30S Pro SBT90.2 vs Convoy M21D XHP70.3 HI

Both are great light, ts30s uses fet driver, so brightness will decrease along with battery voltage sagging, m21d uses boost driver, and happens to have good regulation, m21d 3rd mode can last 1-2 hour, 2nd mode even longer; 3hour +, so if anyone need light for work get the m21d.
The ts30s pro have its own usefulness, despite the un regulated fet output (max regulated is around 350mA), and if youre not blasting turbo often, this is also a good light.

Agree. I was able to run my S21D 6V boost mod on 10% for 6+ hours straight. Well regulated drivers like the one in M21D is a more practical choice for actual use.

Also, ts30sPro reflector is comparable with convoy L21a/b while ts30s approximately the same size with m21c/d so the pro will have tighter hotspot, and the S' wil have wider corona at the distant target.😊

When you tested your S21D at 10% for 6+ hours can you comment on what candela or throw value you had at the 10% setting, and also what type of emitter, diffuser and tint was in your S21D? Thanks!

The TS30S is brighter but I believe the M21D can maintain a brighter beam over a longer period of time after the TS30S steps down due to the heat build up. I favor lights that can sustain brighter beams longer rather than lights that are very bright for 30 seconds, based on this criteria, perhaps the winner here is the M21D? Could you share your thoughts on this? Thanks for the review!

Agree sir. For me I like xhp70.3 hi more than sbt90.2. sbt90.2 is good but too big led. TS30s pro can maintain high output but I am sure that you can't hold it with your bare hand. Thanks for watching and sharing sir 😊🙏.

Good review and comparision sir.👍 I have three flashlight with SBT 90.2 led. (very expensiv led)
they throw fantastic well, but get hot very quick in turbo mode.

SBT90.2 is just a ridiculously overpowering LED for throw. I have an Acebeam K75, and at some point, you will need binoculars because your native eyesight will not be able to tell what is at the end of a 2 kilometer beam that a tightly focused SBT90.2 light can show.

Agree I just picked up the AceBeam k75 2.0. The only light that hangs with that is the A1.

Nice comparison. The xhp70.3 HI is way out of competition. Although the drivers on both of them are very different. Convoy m21b is using theirs standard 6v 5amps driver. While the wurkkos is running high current fet driver which pulls at least 20+ amps to power on that beast SBT90.2 in turbo.
A better comparison would be convoy L8 which has the same SBT90.2, single battery cell and high current fet driver.
Thanks for the nice review. I wish to get myself one of these sbt90.2 flashlights soon but they are still so expensive...

I have both lights love them both but the L8 is the champ between them. I do like the ui in the 30 pro and being it smaller the one I like to carry.

Interesting even using different hosts. We all compare at peak output on fresh batteries, but a true test of usability would be to turn them on for 1 hour, then compare beamshots. Perhaps the cooler running flashlight would win.

Hello sir. I don't know sir.
SBT90.2 is a 3v led. Just only one tint to select. Quite big led so it's instead in a flashlight with a big head.
Xhp70.3 is 6v led. Available in 3000k- 6500k + high cri version. I can be installed in normal flashlight.
For runtime on turbo, it depends on the flashlight design and its driver sir. Big host can deal with heat well. For me, I like xhp70.3 hi because of many tints to select, size of the flashlight which is not too big and watt per lumens is quite efficient.

ผมว่า พุ่งติดกว้างจะดีครับ ลองดูพวก xhp70.3 หรือ xhp70.2 มั้ยครับ ถ้าราคาประหยัดก็ Sofirn SP70 ตัวนี้แรง ร้อนช้า ขนาดใหญ่หน่อย ใส่แบตสองก้อน ผมว่ามันเหมาะกับการยิงระยะไกล และต้องการเปิดพื้นที่บางส่วนครับ จริงๆ มันก็มีเยอะเลยแหละครับ ตอบยาก อันนี้ผมตอบจากอันที่ผมมีและเอาราคาย่อมเยาว์เป็นตัวตั้งก่อนครับ Wurkkos ts30s pro ก็น่าเล่นะครับ แรง พุ่งสะใจเลยครับ
