i came for the thumbnail left without seeing it.. i learned mostly at ST, and even tho there's reef breaks that will hold 2-3ft overhead i had already put about $400 into a bike that was given to me for free that kept breaking.. and the daily rain would just eat through everything among the monkey shit in my yard and the ants eating my $40 sun block.. one best days are like 2-3ft there.. one relationship with an Argentinian trust fund kid later and no voy a regressar a el pais de la pura vida it's like Axel Rose himself had visited before writing welcome to the jungle
Miss both James & Erik! Erik is a leading the foil surf world as The Progression Project & up to his usual high level self as master of fun, James moved back to take care of family & wish he would come back. Petey Pie still here but not surfing much these days. He’s helped many through AA program here & I hope to see him in water soon.
@nosarapodcast Thanks for the reply and an update of the people I remember from my trips to Guiones. It's been over 10 years since I've been there but prior to that I went once a year for 6 or 7 consecutive years. James got some good photos of me surfing and remember Eric in the water just starting out paddleboarding and got to know Pete out in the water. It looks like it has changed a lot and much more crowded than 10 years ago. But thanks for the memories!!!!
