You should make and offer a few two headed musical furby snakes.
i think you really missed a major oppertunity in not naming this "Furberous"
Speaking from some mild experience with making plush dealies, i feel your pain with the stuffing. Only, i never made a cuddly horror that was larger than my pants!
Make some animatronic furby snake thing connected to a panel kosmo - style and use the random movements as a sequencer (CV or drums) depending on where it moves, or add a CV input for some sort of wierd eq display thing - from - hell
Synth jacket maybe? Or a midi controller jacket? We all made fart sounds with our armpits at least once back when we where young... Now we could make snear and kick sounds with our armpits, change the octave with the sipper and so on. 😂

This is by far my most favorite Christmas present... EVER. I recently learned ("learned") how to use a sewing machine too! It's rather satisfying!
Thinking I might mount it to the ceiling where it would be unexpected to see in the new shop... maybe next to a security camera to catch people's fear when they notice it =) Lemme know if you're ever in the Toronto area, would love to show you around!

thanks david! annoyingly i was proper squeezed on time for this, had to get it sent off a day after i got back from my europe tour so regretfully the actual making of it took the whole time i didnt get to follow through with any of my electronic ideas. :( next time!!!!!

The Furberus was pretty cool. Should make another for yourself, and set it up similar to the chorus in making noise, but with more heavily distorted sounds. Maybe some suboctave or comb-filter effect goodness on it?

The only thing that might have made it the slightest bit better would have been to jam some working Furby speech electronics into each head before sewing it on so they could all argue with each other

You can use some sort of scale cell mounted in the shooes so the harder you step on your toes the more intense it gets. You can even have more than one to sense different directions. Perhaps controlling on e of your midi.machines? :)

btw, best way to stuff something like that is to start with it inside out, and use a dowel to push the stuffing in (i helped my ex to stuff toys)

To bad you didn't have time to outfit each of the Furby heads with synths. You could have noise, base, and drums activated by light. You could use an arduino as a sequencer.

Hey for the fact that you're attached to cords, I'd say it wasn't that bad :D
That long furby is one of the greatest things I've seen.
You'd better just make the 3 heads (maybe also the body) separately and stitch them together to save some material, and probably make it a bit easier to sew, as each piece would be way smaller and you do got the option to cut a large piece, fold it in half and sew only one side to make a tube. Just some suggestion if you ever need more of those furberus(es) (and yes, I'm actually also suggesting an alternative name here).
(And, it might be cool if there's a way to wire the whole thing so that the three furbies can still function fully (for example, using a 16 wire bundled cable to connect everything back together)... But it would be the actual creepiest thing then.)
