- 5 years of evolving Daisy kite models is coming to a very limited and very exciting product release. The new model will have a complete generation redesign and much thinner, stiffer and wider kite rings. You can now buy a .5kw flying wind turbine.

After watching a couple of your videos I am left with lots of questions so I will ask just one.
Does the energy output go up the higher the kites are placed?

dankdreamz Kites can completely replace any thermal power plants. They also need much less material than conventional (HAWT) wind turbines. That results in higher EROEI than any generation we use today (and much cheaper energy). You need no tower and no blades, a ground station, lines and a Wing will suffice. There are concepts for kitepowered plants up to 60GW (KiteGen).
Marcus if your saying 60 Giga Watts i am thoroughly impressed. the USA reached 60 GW from wind turbines in total in 2013.
dankdreamz 60GW is about the technical limit for a KiteGen Carousel.
The first MW scale KiteGen are called Stem, they are rated at 3MW. The Stem is the base unit that will eventually go on the carousel.
KiteGen has estimated 1.5b€ for a 5GW carousel.

This is really an amazing and great idea 300W is just awesome for that scale... i would just want one in my garden... also in the field for recharging batteries as im a drone pilot.. will you share the plans? or will it be available anywhere?
