I like channels like yours. Dont get me wrong I wish you all the success on TH-cam, but being a smaller channel makes you more relatable. Way different than a seller with 300k subscribers and like 20k followers on their Ebay store.
Nice sales. Always informative. I havent picked up Footjoy polos in a while. Same with Travis Mathew polos. Seems kinda flooded and the prices i find them at all not profitable.
Hey! I should probably talk about this on camera. If you catch a live definitely ask this so I can share! But short answer, I think eBay is a more long standing and reliable platform so it’s my main focus. Poshmark is a nice tool if you like to sell items fast because it gives you more eyes and a slightly different demographic
Thank you. You just proved that you can sell $20-30 items a d make a good income. I rarely fond those mens items that sell for $50 or more. But I can easily find the bread and butter brands. Just have to list more. What is your average selling price?
I haven’t had any problems! I was very stressed about it when I got it but no issues. I run a fan in the summer for a couple hours a week to keep it from getting stale. It’s cold in the winter so that’s a bummer but it’s doable
Hi Caleb! Great video! Have you ever had any issue with shipping the non boxed shoes in a poly mailer? Love the idea as a time and money saver but afraid of them arriving dented, etc and bad buyer feedback. Thanks!
Hi! No issues from buyers I’ve heard. I still ship anything expensive, collectible, non athletic shoes and others in boxes. But the lightweight running shoes. They really can’t be damaged by being thrown around.
$1500 over two days is awesome! $750 sales per day. So you’re on track to do $274,500 in sales this year?? That would be like $45k in sales so far this year. ($750x60 days) Absolutely amazing !
Thanks! I did $280k and $259k the last two years. Hoping to maintain that but increase margins! I’m a bit behind that pace currently but I took most of January off to refresh my brain. Thanks for watching!
Hey Caleb when you calculate your profits are you also taking out self-employment taxes? I always think my profit is more than it is...then I remember I'm responsible for my own tax! 😩
I did not calculate that in this video. I do save a percentage of my weekly payouts for taxes though. If you worked a salary job for 100k you’d still have to pay taxes on that too
@@_calebsells oh absolutely! It just gets removed for you so you don't feel like it's right in front of you in your account. What percentage do you remove?
@@t-bone6207 *not financial advise* - I take 20% of my payout (gross profit) and move it to a savings account. Its alot more than I need for taxes but I'd rather play it safe and not get crushed by my tax bill. Then the extra is like my personal tax refund (without giving it to someone else to hold) or I use it for big business purchases that I can write off.
Once a buyer left me a negative review for shipping shoes in a polybag even though she said it had no damage. She just didn't like the packaging. I stopped shipping shoes in polybags after that because some buyers are so picky and ridiculous.
@@_calebsells Can you do a video on how to fix shipping issues? I’m brand new to it, and last week I sold a nonreverse mirror, I packed up my item and scheduled usps pickup. A day after pickup it was returned, pointing out an error= that the label said media instead of ground advantage. The order said buyer selected media mail. I honestly don’t know if I accidentally had it originally set to that or if they selected that to try to save on shipping. However, I didn’t know how to fix it so I messaged the buyer letting him know and canceled the order and refunded him. I had to put item out of stock or broken for the cancel reason because I panicked and didn’t know what else to do. If it happens again, how would I fix that? (adjusting shipping therefore needing the buyer to pay for the price difference)
@@shannongreenlaw88 You did the right thing in cancelling once you found the mistake. I personally would have put "problem with buyers address" for the reason because you did have the item and it was a delivery issue that caused the problem. You can't go back and charge the buyer more money so you have to make sure media mail is not an option for your buyers unless it is an item that qualifies.
Caleb, When you sell an item do you take the item out of the numbered bag and reuse the numbered bag again or do you just ship in those numbered bags? @caleb sells

Thanks for following along! I’ll keep trying my best no matter what 👍🏼
Thank you- I have just started watching you and have learned something each time I watch 🙂
I'm so glad!

Yeah good sizes and prints only these days
Caleb I'd to hear your views on selling poshmark vs ebay. What makes you choose one over the other? Will you list an item on both? Thanks dude

Currently $38 ish
I appreciate the transparency. Great sales.
Thanks for watching!
Caleb, I notice you use a regular storage unit vs a climate controlled. Do you ever have problems with moisture? Especially when the seasons change?

Hello. Why dont you have your eBay store linked in your profile?
It’s kaleebsells

Didn’t see a link to your stores.
It’s kaleebsells. I don’t promote my store because I’m not after viewer sales
Hey Caleb How many items can you fit into your storage boxes and what size are they?
Depends on if they are t shirts or jackets but 15 on average I would say

You bet

Yeah that is definitely a risk. I haven’t had any problems yet so we’ll see
If the shoes were worth more than $30 I would also not be happy if a seller sent them in a polybag.
@@bb2status totally depends on the type of shoe and the value. I agree.
if I schedule listings to publish daily, does that please the ebay consistancy algorithm?
That’s what I do

I just ship it in the numbered bag to save time but if it changes the weight to the next weight class I remove and reuse the clear bag.
