rebuilding daughters house due to Ian, her ceiling has the blown in over battens. Sheet rock and bat insulation - the blown in stuff is a major pain- it is everywhere!! PS her ceiling sheetrock came down in full sheet with a few taps at the corner. Theup and down pressure must have loosened it. Now have to screw wall board down.
I transported it in a Ford Explorer (mid size SUV), the machine (after being separated into top + bottom halves), hoses, extension cord + controller would fit with the middle + back row of seating folded down. If you have a compact size, it will likely be two trips to the store to get it all home. The hoses are pretty bulky (I received the volume of a Large Contractor Size Rubber Made Garbage Can full of hoses.) Otherwise it may be worthwhile renting the van from HD to transport the machine + bushels of blow in insulation. My SUV would store 9 bushels of insulation and that would have it crammed from window to window except the front row. Hope this helps. This also made a MASSIVE difference in my upstairs to main floor temperature differences in the evenings + AC doesn't run continuously from 5PM - 10PM (instead it comes on for 10-20 mins then stops to maintain temps) to keep up with the hot attic. Definitely worth it, plus there are likely subsidies you can apply for! Can't wait to see the energy savings $$$ ;-)
Cardboard around the flammable fixtures - got it.

Who is this 'Addix' guy you keep talking about blowing?
They’re also talking about fluffing.
Also, taking advantage of addicts that way just isn’t right!
Winner
No air sealing?
Whats a ball park cost?!?!
$150 per day rental
Can the machine be carried in a small SUV?
