I have been binge watching your videos since I decided to stop dying 2 months ago. This is my 2nd go around since I gave in a year ago but now I’m ready! I have done my research this time and I’m following all of the youtube silver sisters. I will be 53 in a couple of months so my goal is to be fully transitioned by my 55th birthday! My Mom has beautiful white hair so I can’t wait to see what I will have!
Stopped dying my hair during COVID, still have a lot of color in my hair even after cutting all this time. Like the fact I am not a slave to coloring every month. Your hair looks great.
I'm 4 years since I last coloured. It was the best thing I ever did. My husband thinks I look YOUNGER with my salt and pepper versus when I was colouring. I did the cutting it to a very short pixie and grew it/cut it from there. I had very short hair in the past so it wasn't a shock to do it to me. I too started as a brunette. I have quite white in the front and then a mix from there. I love how different light changes how white/grey/dark it looks. I don't use purple shampoo but I do use purple conditioner - that way I can leave it in for a while and it doesn't dry it out. I use it once a month to twice a month.
You want to look for a product that is made for UV protection. SPF is for skin, not hair. I’m not sure what you have available in Canada, but Seen blow out crème is UV and Heat protective, Bumble and Bumble Invisible hair oil also is UV and Heat protective. I have a Heat post and a Sun post on my blog that includes products. I can’t post the links here because TH-cam won’t post it but you know where I am. I think… 😊

A supportive partner helps so much!! Oh okay so the conditioner may be the trick to toning without drying I think!! Thx for watching my video btw!!
Your hair and your cut is one of my fave!!! 7 months in the process, I keep growing it (it's easier because I'm a dyed ash blonde )
You got this!

Going Grey is very hard and extremely slow process in my experience LoL 😅🤔
It sure is!! It’s a lesson in patience for sure!!
Just fyi- I love Fanola Free No Yellow MASK! No more drying purple shampoo!
