Awesome stuff! Never did understand why the young guys work those rocks with no gloves. My son works irrigation and is the same way. I think it is a right of passage to have hands of steel lol
I noticed you seem to use rocks around the perimeter of the aquablocks. Is that so, soil doesn't put pressure on the corners of the aquablocks, preventing a possible puncture?
It's protected all around by several layers and we make sure the soil is clear from any unwanted debree on top of that. So yeah, soil alone isn't causing any issues here. :)
Loved how you really explained and showed how you construct the wetland filter! Just wondered though, what the point of the aqua blocks is? Is it to provide like a void space so the water disperses out and travels up through rock and gravel across the entire area of the wetland filter equally? Thanks 😊
Thanks for the support! Aquablox are designed to efficiently maximize water storage capacity, providing the ability to hold more water with a smaller reservoir footprint. I hope that helps :)
@@AtlantisWaterGardens I take that as more than 10 years it is. It's a good investment then. I am looking forward to use this system if I am happen to make a swimming pond, but sadly Aquablock is not a thing here in our country, at least not yet.
Really enjoying all the layers of this build!

1:18 Would love to see him drop that rock onto the Aquablox to see if they would take it
Well that wouldn't be productive.
I love watching your projects
Thanks, Ando!
It's looking great. I can't wait to see it all finished. You all work so hard. I bet you don't need to workout at the gym 💪

Right! Have to have calloused, split hands to feel like you've made it haha

💯🔥💙👍
How many years Aquablock can last under all those rock until it collapsed?
They're built to withstand the weight. We don't overload them.

@@HakunaMatata009 they have a 10 year warranty, but as long as they're used correctly they should last much longer.
What? No rain?
🤣 You just jinxed us! Lol
