6:30 Yeah that need to be redesigned because spend more time in lock it than put it in the backpack. I like the falcam F38. Bravo ulanzi bside only i got 2 and no problem with tolerance i see videos where people have problem with tolerance. I am amateru so i dont swich so many time but as PRO tolerance is more importnat when you work hard.

darn, I was really hoping you would show how to install this on a tripod w/ a non-arca standard plate.
If you mount the f38 to a backpack strap, the location of the camera on one’s chest makes it much easier to get to the button locking mechanism.
Hi! Are there any issue on the plate screw connecting to the camera? Does the screw stays tight all the time? Or does it loose? Thanks in advance

just attach the camera strap to the 2 narrow bits, then the button is easier for you to get to, but not other people.
Mate, another question 😅 at the end of the video you said that you can attach the peak design anchor system directly in the base. Did you try it? Doesn’t it interfer with the locking mechanism? Does it feel secure? I’m thinking to buy the peak design cuff strap and I would like to attach it directly in the falcam base plate.
Just tried it now and everything is working totally fine without any issues as long as I attach the anchors at the rear part of the plate/camera. If the anchor is attached to the front part of the plate, then it interferes with the locking mechanism a little bit. if you want me to show you a photo of exactly what I mean, you're more than welcome to DM me on Instagram. Overall the idea of this product line is good, but I think they have still lot to learn from Peak Design, for me it works better
Peak Design is awesome!
But with the Falcam F38 quick release system you get more mounting options, such as: tripod mount, camera strap mount etc.. Whereas on Peak Design you just get a backpack strap mounting option..
@@RomaFedorov I disagree, it's just a different approach, they are embracing the already well known and everywhere to be found arca-swiss mount which you use on tripods, and in my case I got the double plate so it fits my Manfrotto tripod too, for the straps, you can just use their hooks which is a quick release by itself, and than the one on the backpack.
I'm not saying that the Falcam F38 is worse, but I think it's not that mature as the Peak Design way, I'd love also to try the Falcam F38 one day and others
Do you have a Peak design plate to test and see if it fits in these ULANZI F38 mounts,? I'd really rather keep using my PD Capture Clip, but would like the threaded base F38.
Unfortunately they are not cross compatible. It seems that Ulanzi and Peak Design are using a different kind of system.
Can you put an L bracket on the tripod mount? I bought two of them, I’m looking forward to receive them 😅 I can’t wait 😅
You can attach the small plate that comes with the tripod mount to your L bracket and then you won’t have any issues. I don’t think you’ll be able to fit the L bracket on its own on the tripod mount.

Do you think the usability of the ulanzi claw system is easier than the falcam lock mechanism?
I think that the Falcam mechanism is easier to operate.

No it does not work with PD capture.

Just normal photo backgrounds. Look it up on Amazon or AliExpress.

@@RomaFedorov But it is super difficult to put the lock, in the claw it is much easier, it still says that it supports up to 50kg, so putting a camera, even if it is with a telephoto lens, will not reach 5kg.
