I've bought most of the starter packs, either for myself or as gifts. They all do pretty well at various kinds of tracks. Most of my cars are built very similarly to starter packs and then go from there. They are a great base, especially this one and the Neo VQS which, with a few modifications, is the best jumping car I have. You really have to know what you are doing to beat Tamiya at their own game.
