I can also confirm that you can use a token to blend in with the merchant’s group, sneak inside a place where there are five guards, then use Assassin’s focus to take them all out. I did that and got the trophy.

This one is super bugged. But finally got it. (tried alot of the other method people talked about Anbar and Gassrison wasn't working for me). On Xbox One For me what worked was: - Damascus Gate - Save Before - I used the Merchants Group (many people said don't, but it seemed to work fine for me). - Purposely walk a little in front of the Merchantes. Wait till you are just in the right spot to get all 5 characters. - Make sure you come to a complete stop! This is why walking a little in front of the group helped. - Kill order, Button right, middle big guy, left guy facing a cart. Then kill guy on upper right post then kill guy on upper left post. - Saving the upper guys for last, allowed me to kill without being spotted. - Recharge focus, reload dead guys by loading back in from the closet eagle view spot. and repeat think standing entirely still and maybe combination of not being spotted helped a lot. I was getting worried this was just broke. Thanks TH-camrs! lol

This was my last trophy and this spot in Anbar worked like a charm! I was trying to do this in the prison and at the gates and it was taking me forever. I tried everything, including Assassin's Focus... I thought it was bugged but maybe it's just a "sensitivity" issue of some sort in the game that if you don’t do it exactly in a very very very particular way, it won't work. Eventhough you're still doing exactly what the trophy asks for... I must have killed at least 100 guards blending in with the crowd in the previous spots and even successfully remained undetected after it many times, but still it didn't work. Well, clearly 8 of those assassinations counted somehow, because once I moved to this spot in Anbar I took down 2 guards in my first attempt and the trophy popped up right way! If had kept trying in those other spots, who knows how many more guards I'd have kill untill these last 2 counted. Thank you so much!!! 💕
This trophy is definitely buggy. I tried your method about 10 times then tried the Damascus Gate North West method to use the Assassin Focus skill to kill 5 guards in the crowd. I probably repeated it about 6 times until after I done the 5 guard kill, I went back to where the Trader is and there are two guards near another group, whistled one over and killed him normally and then threw a blade at the other and got the trophy. I think it also helps to be standing still and not move while you assassinate. Hope this helps.
IF YOU ARE STRUGGLING TO GET THIS TROPHY - Delete AC Mirage and re-download it. Then, perform some assassinations while blended with a crowd (I did one focus assassination on 5 guards at the Damascus Gate and some regular assassinations in the Anbar Marketplace) and the achievement should pop up. I tried everything and nothing worked, until I deleted AC and re-downloaded it, to which I got the trophy soon after and now I have the platinum trophy. (DON'T WORRY, YOU WILL NOT LOSE PROGRESS/TROPHIES BY DELETING, IT WILL ALL STILL BE THERE WHEN YOU RE-DOWNLOAD). Hope this helps!

@@BurgersWRLD999 i somehow managed to do it, load up all assasination skill bars & go to the damascus gate by the prison where you have 2 groups of merchants, make a manual savestate, pay the merchants outside of the gate and walk with them, keep walking until you are in the gate, have 2 random npc increasing the crowd and have sight of 5 guards, activate the assasination skill, select 5 with the last being on the wooden bridge above ground (but leave 1 on the ground alive to make him see you)… that worked for me once… load back your safe and go to the gate directly by the prison, stand in a crowd of random npcs and repeat the assassination skill… it‘s hella buggy and exhausting, i know😬
Yeah there's definitely something not right with this one. I tried loads of blending in different locations in Baghdad, none of which seemed to count towards the trophy until I tried this location in Anbar.
I killed one guard blending in a group and also threw a knife in the end and the trophy popped up after the knife, the whole time the white line is around me so I guess maybe it counts in this way？
Im just gonna say it this trophy is buggy i did exactly what i did when the trophy popped probably 30 times Use the focus thing its best shot thankfully it didnt ruin the plantium for this crap game
Yeah there's definitely some strangeness going on with this one. I think it's because Basim can emerge from blend quite easily when executing the assassination.

There an easier way if u blend in and use the Assassins Focus ability it counts as u still blended so you can kill 5 at once

This one is super bugged. But finally got it. (tried alot of the other method people talked about Anbar and Gassrison wasn't working for me).

I have done the merchants group, 5 kill assassin focus thing twice and not gotten the trophy.
It's such a tricky trophy to get. I spent more than an hour trying different things before I found this blend group in Anbar.

That works; but I found that to be sometimes inconsistent.
Do throwing knives count?
I wouldn't think so. The achievement says "assassinate" not "kill".
