The ONLY thing that got me out of a seemingly hopeless situation was sincerely asking for God to take away the desire and it worked pretty much overnight. 25 years of it and control back overnight. Try it. I am still human and things can temp me or cross my mind, but the compulsion and total lack of control was taken away. Pretty amazing.

Remember what God says for those who truly want something , “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-12. Never give up on praying to God and talking to him and reading his word to help you understand him even better. God will definitely help you if you want to truly get to know him. I'm a sixteen year old seeking the kingdom of God and it's righteousness.
I'm dealing with the fear of end time, the fear of losing my loved ones, the fear of disappointing God with my actions.
I'm so self conscious about every single thing i do, such as the random thoughts and secular musics that pops up in my mind.
I'm also dealing with controlling my emotions, mostly anger and anytime i let my emotions get the better of me i feel like I've disappointed God
I believe Jesus died so that we can obtain salvation, and i know that everything and anything that is happening in my life is on account of God's will for me
I just need help letting go of all my fears

"The Lord is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works" (Psalms 145:9).
"All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord." (Psalms 145:10a)
"His mercy endures forever" (Psalms 118:1; and repeated throughout the Psalms).
"I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before me, and the breath of life that I made." (Isaiah 57:16)
"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end." (Lamentations 3:22)

I used to be depressed because of going to hell, scared of suffering, and pain. But in the Bible it says that if you put your faith in Jesus 100% that he’ll save you, you’ll make it into heaven. What I’ve learned, is that the way to heaven is ultimately through faith, and living for the Lord Jesus😊! Rapture is something that always scared me but I find joy in it now because of the grace of God, and the forgiveness, and mercy of Jesus. Live for him, and have nothing before him, and spread the gospel sister. He loves you more than you’ll ever know!!

One thing to remember is that the Sermon on the mount was preached to people who thought they could earn their way to heaven. Jesus says, in the very same Sermon on the mount just a couple chapters earlier, that “for I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and the Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Nobody would have been able to do that. Jesus is setting the stage and is trying to tell them that they won’t enter by their own works, and that only a righteous savior will be rightfully good enough.
The gospel message essentially boils down to faith alone. Righteousness totally apart from works. Only by belief in Jesus can we be saved, and apart from that there is no other way to God.

rom3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
rom5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
rom5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
rom4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: psalm103:10
He has not dealt with us according to our sins or repaid us according to our iniquities.
      psalm 103:12
As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
      2 corrin 5:19
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
      rom 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
your only requirement is faith in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus christ, 1 corin 15:1-4 these false teachers always mix the Israel message with our body of Christ message , thats why the add works or law or commandments or behavior to the simple gospel they pervert it and add to it , there's things that christ said to and for israel only, not for the body, our apostle Paul has laid out our message clearly they just mix the 2 all up and tell you stuff that doesn't pertain to us!

      @@wolfwatchers,
You don’t know or understand the scriptures. There is no separation of Israel and the body (church) because the Bible says ISRAEL IS THE CHURCH. Biblically there is no such things as a “Gentile church.” Without Israelites there exist no church. This is why Christ said “...Salvation is of the Jews.”
You lack understanding of Paul’s writings. Paul writes about several different “Laws” such as law of sin and death, law of sin, law of faith, law of God, law of Christ, law of animal sacrifice, and other different laws. So when Paul mentions the word “Law” in his writings, one must have spiritual discernment to understand which law he is speaking of. In all the verses you cited Paul is referring to the law of animal sacrifice. He is not removing the Law of Moses which is the same as the law of God.

God's voice was written for us which is His Commandments/Law in the Prophets of old. Messiah's voice was also written for us which is his teachings and his examples testified to by the Apostles. To hear God's voice is to follow/obey His Law and to hear the Messiah's voice is to follow in his example on how to practice his God and Father's Law.
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law (of YHWH) or (His Testimony in) the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them (to teach the spiritual aspect of them).
      -Matthew 5:17
Messiah said his sheep hears his voice... if you are his sheep then keep his Father's Law and practice them the way that he did which the Apostles wrote for us to show us how.
The Pharisees of old did not follow in his example but practice The Law of YHWH their own way and so...
Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you cannot hear My Word (his teachings on how to keep YHWH's Law).
      -John 8:43
      Matthew 23:2‭-‬3
“The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat (as teachers of YHWH's Law), so DO AND OBSERVE whatever they tell you (from The Law which includes The Sabbath, Passover etc), (the only thing he warns is -->) but not (follow) the works they do (how they actually keep The Law of YHWH). For they preach, but do not practice (in spirit and in truth, John 4:24, meaning they are self-centered in their mindset in practicing these Laws).
      Mark 7:6‭-‬9
He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites (who claims to keep The Law of YHWH); as it is written: “ ‘These people honor Me (YHWH) with their lips, but THEIR HEART (their Intent) are far from Me (insincere, self-centered). They worship Me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules (which He did not command them).’ You have let go of the (actual) commands of God (YHWH) and are holding on to human traditions.” And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of YHWH in order to observe your own traditions!
Which, sadly, many also do as the Pharisees did today.

First we have to be saved by the Gospel according to Paul! 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 :
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures
and we have to put our trust in his blood Romans 3 24-26 :
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
      25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
And You are saved through faith in his blood alone it is a free GIFT of God and not through your works lest any man should boast!
So remember that faith means you believe and trust it and the moment you trust the blood Gospel you are saved and if you want to tell that too God it should come from the Heart!

Hi, it is difficult to understand that God is one in the agreement with God the Father's word.Three in one refers to Jesus who sits on the Throne on the Father's right hand. Jesus is God the Word made flesh. After He arose from the grave, walked and talked with 500 ppl, He was taken up in the clouds to His place as God that He had in the beginning.
The Holy Spirit is God and His responsibility a part in creation of the world. Remember the word says He hovered over the earth and then God the Father says, let Us make man in OUR IMAGE. The Holy Spirit is know doing the ministry Jesus told us He would do when He was poured out upon the whole world. There are several scriptures that speak of the 3 , but I only remember they are in the New Testament. You can Google for the scriptures.
Ĝod in 3 persons is difficult to grasp until you see it written in scripture.
      Best to you, littleheart.

There are actually three conditions for being saved. You have to believe, repent and endure to the end.
Also, it does require a change in behaviours according to Gods will. You are a new person in Christ Jesus. If your behaviours dont change then you were never saved to begin with. As John the Baptist said; "Produce fruit in keeping with repentance".
Your behaviours are the fruit. They are the evidence of having been saved.
So, you can't be saved by works, but once you are saved, you are a new person in Christ and you will manifest new behaviours. If there is no behavioural change then you were never saved to begin with. Belief, repentance (which starts the process of sanctification) and enduring to the end (Matthew 24:13 Jesus said "But, the one who endures to the end will be saved") are conditions for having been saved.
That is why Jesus said: "I never knew you". Its not because you are no longer saved. Its because you were never saved to begin with. There was no relationship to break off.

      No worries my friend,
Exactly what you're so worried about is what Satan would have you thinking
But would you like to know some beautiful promises of God?
      Promises?
Yes....promises that God keeps and they are true and biblical because God is the same, yesterday, today and forever...never changing!
He loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for us.
Security is what we all want. What if I told you, you already HAVE eternal security just by believing on Jesus Christ.
      Is that what you want?
      It's what I want and KNOW I have....here's why...
      1. I know I'm going to heaven.
      1 John 5:13
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that YE MAY KNOW that ye HAVE eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
      That's a beautiful promise...and present tense.
      2. I know I am sealed...
      Ephesians 1 : 13,14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel ( 1 Cor. 15:1-4) of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchase possession, unto the praise of his glory.
      3. How long is that seal? And can it be broken?
      Ephesians 4:30
30 And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
      That's Jesus' return!! ❤😃
And it cannot be broken as it is from God!
Here's more reassurance as to whether or not you can KNOW you're going to heaven.
      John 6:47 Jesus says
47 Verily, verily I say unto you he that believeth on me HATH everlasting life
You have it! That's very GOOD NEWS!
      John 11:26 Jesus says
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
We are passed from death unto life!!
We cannot WORK for our salvation.
      Ephesians 2:8,9
8 For ye are saved by grace through faith and that not of yourselves is the gift of God.
9 Not of works lest any man should boast.
      And lastly....
      In Matthew 7:21-23
In verse 21 Jesus says...Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord shall enter unto the kingdom of heaven; BUT he that doeth the WILL OF MY FATHER which is in heaven.
Okay....so then biblically speaking what's the WILL of the Father?
It's found in John 6:40 Jesus speaking
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life : and I will raise him up at the last day.
Okay, so....the will of the Father is to believe on His Son Jesus.
So, now...let's go back to Matthew 7 and in verse 22 Jesus says...MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful WORKS?
So in verse 23....Jesus says...And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me ye that WORK iniquity.
See...when you believe on Jesus Christ ALONE....your sins are gone even though our flesh still sins...our new nature in Christ does not sin.
There's a very good reason I capitalized the word MANY from verse 22...it's because of the verse about the road to destruction is broad and MANY be that find it, but narrow is the road to life and FEW be that find it. Everyone is wanting to put their self in the equation of salvation but it's not biblical....we can't do works, we can't be our own saviour...I can't trust in me for salvation. I trust in what Jesus did on the cross....period.
      Isaiah 43:25
25 I, even I am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake and will not remember thy sins.
When we believe and trust in Christ, the Father sees His Son in us, not our sin.
Those who are performing works for salvation are not saved and their sin remains on them.
We are to " rest" in Jesus
      Hebrews 4:1-6
Don't be scared, trust in Jesus and the beautiful promises He's given.
Don't doubt....that's what Satan wants you to do. 🙂❤

When satan tried to tempt Jesus, do you know how Jesus defeated him? The Lord defeated him with the word of God and the scripture, are you reading your bible honey? Armour yourself in God's word, and you take your authority over the enemy and rebuke him and those thoughts in Jesus name. Jesus gave you the authority when you took him to be your Lord and Saviour, you are saved honey if you've asked Jesus to be your saviour and to forgive your sin, and you believe.
If it helps you pet, I'm in my 30s and I used to have those same doubts and thoughts. I used to cry out like you are too. Prayer alone isn't enough. Read the word, read your bible. Worship songs too. But more, read the bible. Read it for yourself and not through some preachers eyes, what a blessing to be your age and be able to do so ❤ Pray to the Lord to ask him to guide you through the bible, you'll find God speaking to you through the word and answering your prayers and questions. Don't let those doubts overcome you honey and remember nothing or no one rivals the Lord. The Lord is faithful and loyal and so, so good. Find him in the Word. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" I'll pray for you pet, God Bless you 🙏 ❤

So remember that faith means you believe and trust it and the moment you trust the blood Gospel you are saved and if you want to tell that too God it should come from the Heart!

Exactly right! There's clearly scripture to support this, such as:
39This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. 40And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:39-40
2For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. 3For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 4Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. 5But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. Romans 4:2-5
8For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
When we stand before Christ, we better witness that the only thing that qualifies us to get into heaven is Christ. Unfortunately, most people will come before him with other ways than only Christ, whether it's another idol or their own abilities of performing good works. Everyone is a worker of iniquity until they believe in Christ and become regenerated as pointed out in Corinthians 6:9,11 "9Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."
      Praise God for Christ!

Thanks Brother Allen, for bringing clarity to these Bible passages. @Tbone, Can you prove that God is not real, because I can prove that he is.
As Christian’s, we know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.
The most basic proof of God's existence is simply what He has made. "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities"his eternal power and divine nature"have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse" (Romans 1:20). "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." (Psalm 19:1).
If I found a wristwatch in the middle of a field, I would not assume that it just "appeared" out of nowhere or that it had always existed. Based on the watch's design, I would assume it had a designer. But there is far greater design and precision in the world around us. Our measurement of time is not based on wristwatches, but on God's handiwork"the regular rotation of the earth (and the radioactive properties of the cesium-133 atom). The universe displays great design, and this argues for a Great Designer.
If I found an encoded message, I would seek out a cryptographer to help break the code. My assumption would be that there is an intelligent sender of the message, someone who created the code. How complex is the DNA "code" that we carry in every cell of our bodies? Does not the complexity and purpose of DNA argue for an Intelligent Writer of the code?
Not only has God made an intricate and finely tuned physical world; He has also instilled a sense of eternity in the heart of every person (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Mankind has an innate perception that there is more to life than meets the eye, that there is an existence higher than this earthly routine. Our sense of eternity manifests itself in at least two ways: law-making and worship.
Every civilization throughout history has valued certain moral laws, which are surprisingly similar from culture to culture. For example, the ideal of love is universally esteemed, while the act of lying is universally condemned. This common morality"this global understanding of right and wrong"points to a Supreme Moral Being who gave us such scruples.
In the same way, people all over the world, regardless of culture, have always cultivated a system of worship. The object of worship may vary, but the sense of a "higher power" is an undeniable part of being human. Our propensity to worship accords with the fact that God created us "in His own image" (Genesis 1:27).
God has also revealed Himself to us through His Word, the Bible. Throughout Scripture, the existence of God is treated as a self-evident fact (Genesis 1:1; Exodus 3:14). When Benjamin Franklin wrote his autobiography, he did not waste time trying to prove his own existence. Likewise, God does not spend much time proving His existence in His book. The life-changing nature of the Bible, its integrity, and the miracles which accompanied its writing should be enough to warrant a closer look.
The third way in which God revealed Himself is through His Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6-11). "In the beginning was the Word: the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:1,14; see also Colossians 2:9).
In Jesus' amazing life, He kept the entire Old Testament law perfectly and fulfilled the prophecies concerning the Messiah (Matthew 5:17). He performed countless acts of compassion and public miracles to authenticate His message and bear witness to His deity (John 21:24-25). Then, three days after His crucifixion, He rose from the dead, a fact affirmed by hundreds of eyewitnesses (1 Corinthians 15:6). The historical record abounds with "proof" of who Jesus is. As the Apostle Paul said, this thing "was not done in a corner" (Acts 26:26).
We realize that there will always be skeptics who have their own ideas concerning God and will read the evidence accordingly. And there will be some whom no amount of proof will convince (Psalm 14:1). It all comes down to faith (Hebrews 11:6). Have a great day dear one. 🤗

Just to give clarification to what he is saying and make some notes:
      11:35
The Lord never said that the road is difficult, only that the path is straight, narrow and that few find it, that path is Him, it is singular because HE is the way, the truth and the Life and none come unto the Father except through Him.
He Imputed His own righteousness onto you (Grace).
His blood was shed for our sins (Grace).
It is His faithfulness that keeps us saved (Grace).
His body was broken for us (Grace).
He was resurrected and we shall emulate that resurrection at His coming (Grace).
We are born again by the spiritual baptism that comes from the Holy Spirit of God (Grace).
The Broad way is actually harder, you have to be willfully ignorant.
      12:25
There is nothing that can keep you out of the Kingdom of God if your trust is in the Lord God Jesus Christ according to His Gospel, there is no sin that you can do that isn't paid for, there is no distance you can travel that can take you out of the hand of God, for it is God who is faithful and no man is faithful as God is, no man is righteous by His own deeds.
      12:38
The will of the Father is that you believe upon the one whom God hath sent, it is not you maintaining your own righteousness nor setting out to establish your own righteousness.
      *****
      John 6:26-48
"26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
28 Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?
29 Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.
42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.
44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.
47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
48 I am that bread of life."
      *****
      13:02
Those who are calling the Lord Lord are not trusting in the Lord according to the Gospel which is detailed in 1 Corinthians 15, the Gospel is the Death, Burial and Resurrection of the Lord God Jesus Christ.
The Gospel is the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord, those who trust in the Lord are imputed His righteousness (Romans 4:1-8), their sins are washed away (John 3:14-21), they receive spiritual Baptism (Acts 1, John 3), they are kept by the faithfulness of the Lord (2 Timothy 2:13).
The devils and demons who believe that Jesus is Lord, the same as the works salvationists, they believe that Jesus is Lord yet they do not TRUST in the Lord to save them according to His Gospel.
Those who profess unto the Lord their works and God calls them workers of iniquity, iniquity being unequalness to God, they are workers of iniquity because they have not subjected themselves unto the righteousness of God which of GRACE not of WORKS.
To subject yourself to the righteousness of God is to trust in the one whom He hath sent, fully, to trust in the Lord alone and nothing else to save you, that your works and merit have nothing to do with salvation for salvation is the work of God, not of man.
You cannot earn salvation nor can you maintain salvation nor can you lose salvation.
Salvation is God's work alone, you merely receive that Grace through your faith.
To clarify what Faith is, Faith is not faithfulness, Faith is what you believe is true concerning the things you have not seen and you base it upon the evidence of what you already know (Hebrews 11).
Faith is not blind, Faith is rooted in knowledge and understanding.
      *****
      Ephesians 2:8-9
"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."
      *****
Again you are not saved BY FAITH you are saved THROUGH FAITH for you are saved BY GRACE which you RECEIVE THROUGH FAITH.
You are saved by the Grace of God, not of YOURSELVES, it is not of the works you have done before, during or after you are saved, your righteous works are as filthy rags to God.
You are saved UNTO good works meaning that God desires that you strive for righteousness after you are saved (Discipleship), but you being saved by the blood of Christ and His righteousness, that you are born of God and that you are kept by Him, that has nothing to do with your walk and everything to do with whether you received Grace by trusting in Him to save you according to His own Word.
      13:08
To Clarify, mere words without trust are vain, what you believe, what you say within yourself that is what God is looking at, what is your will?
Do you trust in God, are you persuaded and assured that He is true?
Do you trust in Him Alone to save you?
That is enough to receive Grace.
Whether you have a good walk (Discipleship) or a bad walk (Dead Faith), both are faith and it is faith regardless of merit that allows you to receive Grace (Salvation).
      *****
      Romans 10:10-17
"10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

My mind and soul are plagued with doubts. I trust in Christ for salvation and repented of my sins (repentance is an everyday thing), however, God still feels like He's a million miles away. When I first got saved, I felt like I was walking with God hand in hand every single say, but now, years later, because of willfully giving into temptations and the lusts of my flesh and backsliding a bit, that fellowship that I once had with God seems so far away. Like I said, I do believe I'm saved, and trust in Jesus alone for salvation, however, I'm haunted by the things I've seen and done and sometimes I have doubts. Please just keep me in prayer, saints.

    • @wtom04
      @wtom04 ปีที่แล้ว

@Nickylongballs What is causing you doubts right now are the 2 false doctrines of Calvinism and Arminianism where both have permeated mainstream Christianity like malignant cancers. Calvinism/Lordship Salvation falsely teaches that if a believer willfully gives into sins and backslides that the person "was never saved to begin with" and is an "unsaved false professor with non saving faith" based upon a faulty interpretation of Luke 8:6-7/Luke 8:13-14. However, a careful reading of Luke 8:6-7/Luke 8:13-14 will reveal that these are indeed saved believers with varying degrees of faith who have the presence of hindrances in their lives preventing spiritual growth resulting in stunted growth, spiritual atrophy/stagnancy. Lordshippers will only perceive Luke 8:8/Luke 8:15 as the only "truly saved Christian with true saving faith".
Then we have Arminian/Lordship Salvation that falsely teaches that those who willfully gives into sin and backslides and falls away will "lose their salvation and go to hell" based upon a faulty and twisted interpretation of such passages like Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, Hebrews 10:38-39, John 15:2,6 where these passages are taken OUT OF CONTEXT and used in isolation. However, a careful exegesis of these passages reveals that they are not threats about losing salvation and going to hell, but are warnings to saved Christians that if they willfully indulge in sin or backslide and fall away that they will incur God's temporal chastisement in this earthly life and suffer other unpleasant consequences, BUT THEY ARE STILL SAVED and going to heaven.
      (continued)

    • @wtom04
      @wtom04 ปีที่แล้ว

@Nickylongballs (continued) Colossians 3:5-10 is a passage that has been hijacked and redefined by many Lordship Salvation heretics and all works based false gospel heretics to mean that if Christians do what is described in this passage, then that means they "were never saved to begin with" and that they "will not make it into heaven". Other heretics will falsely teach that if Christians do what is described in Colossians 3:5-10, then those believers "will lose their salvation and go to hell." False teachers will also use 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 1 Corinthians 9:27, Revelation 22:15, Galatians 5:19-21, Luke 8:6-7/Luke 8:13-14 in support of their errant interpretation of Colossians 3:5-10.
However, none of these passages are salvation passages, but are exhortations for saved Christians to live in holiness to avoid chastisement from God and other unpleasant earthly consequences in this life. These passages are NOT teaching sinless perfection for no Christian on the face of this earth can follow and obey Christ's commands and these passages in perfect sinless perfection. Christ was the ONLY person who was able to do that.
Passages like 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Galatians 5:19-21 are warnings that if Christians do live in sexual immorality, etc, in this life, then they will experience chastisement from God in this life and other unpleasant earthly consequences and they will also experience a LOSS OF ETERNAL REWARDS. The phrase "will not inherit the Kingdom of God" in both 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 and Galatians 5:19-21 is NOT talking about Kingdom entrance into heaven which is FREE, but INHERITING the Kingdom which has to do with ETERNAL REWARDS and REIGNING with Christ which are EARNED privileges based on how we live in this earthly life. ENTERING the Kingdom and INHERITING the Kingdom are 2 different things.
All saved Christian's works in this life whether GOOD or BAD, will be evaluated at the Judgment Seat of Christ to determine the gain or loss of ETERNAL REWARDS and the privilege of REIGNING with Christ, BUT not eternal life which is free. The Judgment Seat of Christ is reserved for SAVED PEOPLE ONLY - 2 Corinthians 5:10, 1 Corinthians 3:10-15. It is separate from the Great White Throne Judgment reserved exclusively for the UNSAVED ONLY - Revelation 20:11-15.
The very context of 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 is talking about ETERNAL REWARDS. This passage is not talking about the free gift of eternal life which is not earned. Only eternal rewards and the privilege of reigning with Christ in the Millennial kingdom here on earth are earned. Paul is saying that ETERNAL REWARDS that he himself and all Christians can be disqualified from if they live in carnality, sin, and disobedience in this life. This passage is not talking about the free gift of eternal life which is not earned.
The word "castaway" is a technical word that is common to those who were participants in the Greek Olympic games of the apostle Paul's time. "Castaway" means to be disqualified/disapproved for the PRIZE when athletes fail in their performance. Paul used the illustration of a RUNNER and a BOXER in 1 Corinthians 9:26 to describe his experience as a believer where he could be disqualified from the PRIZE which is an earned reward that is attained by his ministry/service in this life as an apostle. A runner or a boxer can be DISQUALIFIED from the prize if they fail in their performance or do something wrong. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 is NOT talking about the possible loss of salvation.
1 Corinthians 9:27 is very commonly twisted and used in isolation by false teachers to teach that failing Christians "will lose their salvation" or prove "they were never saved". Many Lordship Salvation heretics have hijacked this passage.

@Nickylongballs (continued) All saved Christian's works in this life whether GOOD or BAD, will be evaluated at the Judgment Seat of Christ to determine the gain or loss of ETERNAL REWARDS and the privilege of REIGNING with Christ, BUT not eternal life which is free.
      1) FAITHFUL CHRISTIANS in this life that lived obediently, and faithfully and did things that have eternal value will be granted with eternal rewards, and for some, the earned privilege of reigning with Christ in the Millennium is granted - 2 Timothy 2:12, Revelation 3:21, and Revelation 2:26. Their lives will be tested with fire (Christ's fiery scrutiny) and WILL PASS THE TEST and be granted eternal rewards and some will reign with Christ.
      2) UNFAITHFUL CHRISTIANS in this life that lived disobediently, and carnally will have their works tested with the fire of Christ's scrutiny at the Judgment Seat of Christ. Their lives, that is, their works had no eternal value and WILL FAIL THE TEST and be denied eternal rewards, BUT are still saved because eternal life is a free gift apart from works - Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:20, Romans 3:28, Romans 4:2-6, Romans 9:32, Romans 11:6, Galatians 2:16, Galatians 2:21, Gal ch. 3, Galatians 5:4, Titus 3:5. If we Christians deny Christ in this life by living unfaithfully, disobediently, or carnally in this life and then die in that state of mind, then Christ will DENY us ETERNAL REWARDS and the privilege of REIGNING with Him (latter half of 2 Timothy 2:12), but our eternal salvation remains intact and untouched as 2 Timothy 2:13 clearly states.
Believers who endure and persevere under trials and hardships in this life will REIGN with Christ.
2 Timothy 2:12-13 - 12 If we suffer, we shall also REIGN WITH HIM: if we deny him, he also will deny us:
13 If we believe not, YET HE ABIDETH FAITHFUL: he cannot deny himself.
If we DENY CHRIST in this earthly life by living in disobedience, unfaithfulness, carnality, worldliness, laziness, etc, then Christ will DENY US ETERNAL REWARDS and the privilege of REIGNING with Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ - 2nd half of 2 Timothy 2:12, BUT WE ARE STILL SAVED AND POSSESS ETERNAL LIFE in heaven - 2 Timothy 2:13, 1 Corinthians 3:14-15.
2 John 1:8 - Watch out that you do not LOSE what we have WORKED FOR, but that you may be REWARDED FULLY.
1 Corinthians 9:27 - No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I MYSELF WILL NOT BE DISQUALIFIED FOR THE PRIZE.
Revelation 22:12 - And, behold, I come quickly; and my REWARD is with me, to give every man ACCORDING AS HIS WORK SHALL BE.
God sometimes punishes unfaithful Christians who are saved with SICKNESS and premature PHYSICAL DEATH who are living in willful sin which is in essence defiling themselves - 1 Corinthians 3:17, 1 John 5:16-17, but they are still saved. The Christians in the Corinthian church who were eating selfishly and getting drunk at the Lord's Supper are a classic example - 1 Corinthians 11:20-22, 1 Corinthians 11:29-30.
Eternal life is FREE, BUT eternal rewards are EARNED. There is a big difference.
This is what 1 Corinthians 3:10-15 is talking about:
10 By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. 11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder WILL SUFFER LOSS, but YET WILL BE SAVED-even though only as one escaping through the flames.
The "gold", "silver", and "costly stones" represents faithful Christian's works in this life that had eternal value and will STAND UP to the fire used to test it, but the "wood", "hay", and "straw" represents unfaithful Christian's works in this life that had no eternal value, but will BURN UP in the fire used to test it. The "gold, "silver", and "costly stones" symbolize a life of obedience, commitment, perseverance, faithfulness, endurance under trial, etc. but the "wood", "hay", and "straw" symbolizes a life of unfaithfulness, disobedience, carnality, laziness, etc.
Again, the "burned up" and "flames" in verse 15 is not referring to the flames of hell, but is referring to the works of the carnal, unfaithful, and disobedient Christians in this life that had no eternal value that is BURNED UP when tested with Christ's fiery scrutiny. Their eternal salvation remains intact and untouched, for eternal life is a free gift apart from works - Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23.
In conclusion, UNFAITHFUL Christians in this life who lived disobediently and carnally will experience chastisement in this life from God including SICKNESS and premature PHYSICAL DEATH for some - 1 John 5:16-17, Proverbs 15:10, Hebrews 12:5-11, Jeremiah 2:19, 1 Corinthians 11:29-30, Acts 5:1-10, and experience SHAME (1 John 2:28) and a forfeiture of ETERNAL REWARDS at the Judgment Seat of Christ, but loss of eternal life is NEVER one of the consequences - 1 Corinthians 3:15, 2 Timothy 2:13.
      Hope this helps, God bless!

@Nickylongballs The following Biblical examples are worth considering:
      1) Samson is a true man of God and at the same time a FORNICATOR - Judges 16:1 who led Israel for 20 years - Judges 15:20, Judges 16:31. The Bible is clear that he saw a prostitute and spent the night with her and what is described in Mark 7:20-23 and Galatians 5:19 was in Samson's heart at that very moment.
Samson's last prayer just before his simultaneous murder/suicide was NOT a prayer of repentance, but was a request to God to strengthen him so that he could get REVENGE on the Philistines for the loss of his 2 eyes. Then in Judges 16:28-30, Samson commits a simultaneous MURDER/SUICIDE. Yet Samson is listed as a Godly man of faith in Hebrews 11:32. Samson would not be listed there if he was unsaved.
      2) KING DAVID is a true man of God who struggled with LIVE PORNOGRAPHY and no doubt at that moment had sexual lust in his heart (Mark 7:20-23, Galatians 5:19) as he watched Bathsheba take a bath from the roof of his palace and then gave in to the temptation and committed ADULTERY/MURDER - 2 Samuel 11:1-21. This happened despite the fact that King David had over 6 wives at the time - 2 Samuel 3:1-5, 2 Samuel 5:13. King David felt no conviction for his sins of adultery and murder because of the deliberate steps that he took to bring Bathsheba to him and then gave orders for the murder of her husband, Uriah the Hittite. God had to send Nathan the prophet to WAKE HIM UP - 2 Samuel 12.
God chastised King David with a series of painful consequences for the rest of his life - 2 Samuel 12:10, but his eternal salvation was never in question.
King David is a true man of God and is called the "man after God's heart" - Acts 13:22, but the deliberate steps that he took to bring Bathsheba to his palace obviously showed that King David felt NO CONVICTION. David sent an assistant to find out about her -2 Samuel 11:3 and was then informed that Bathsheba is MARRIED to Uriah the Hittite. Then despite knowing that fact about Bathsheba which should have deterred him, he instructs his assistants to bring her to him - 2 Samuel 11:4. Those chronological actions taken by David obviously shows that David felt no conviction about sleeping with another man's wife despite the fact that he was married to over 6 women at the time - 2 Samuel 3:1-5, 2 Samuel 5:13. King David had all the sex that he wanted, but it appeared that his many wives were not enough to satisfy him.
He later takes Bathsheba to be one of his many wives adding to the list after murdering her husband, Uriah the Hittite - 2 Samuel 11:26-27. He then gets her pregnant again.
There is a big contrast between King David and his sexual lust for Bathsheba in comparison with Joseph and Potiphar's wife. It is important to note that Joseph was SINGLE at that time when Potiphar's wife tempted him sexually on a daily basis. However, Joseph had strong GODLY CONVICTION and refused to give in and because of his strong Godly conviction, the Lord blessed Joseph wherever he went. Both King David and Joseph were SAVED Godly men, but the only difference is that King David had a total lack of Godly conviction when it came to sexual sin, but Joseph had strong Godly conviction.
      3) King Solomon is a true man of God, but became a serial polygamist taking 1000 wives and became a DEMON WORSHIPER at the end of his life - 1 Kings 11:1-13. Solomon also had a HAREM full of women - Ecclesiastes 2:8. Solomon even built 2 altars to the 2 demon gods, Chemosh and Molech in 1 Kings 11:7-8. Molech was a demon god that required child sacrifices - A SATANIC PRACTICE. (The practice of sacrificing one's sons/daughters in the fire - Leviticus 18:21, 2 Kings 23:10) THIS WAS KING SOLOMON. Solomon persisted in his sins despite God warning him TWICE - 1 Kings 9:2 - 6, 1 Kings 11:9-11. Because of Solomon's defiance, God declared to Solomon that He would tear away a major portion of his kingdom, but do it in his son's generation because of God's covenant with Solomon's father, King David.
God then brought 3 adversaries against Solomon - 1 Kings 11:14, 23, 26. Then we read that Solomon tried to commit MURDER in 1 Kings 11:40. Nowhere in Scripture does it ever say that Solomon "lost his salvation" or "never had it to begin with."
People in the Old Testament were saved the exact same way as people in New Testament times, otherwise the apostle Paul would not have quoted Genesis 15:6 in Romans 4:2-6, and Galatians 3:5-8 in support of SALVATION BY FAITH ALONE IN CHRIST ALONE APART FROM OUR WORKS.
Galatians 3:5-8 - 5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, OR BY BELIEVING WHAT YOU HEARD?
6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of Abraham.
8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced THE GOSPEL IN ADVANCE TO ABRAHAM: “All nations will be blessed through you.”
      Hope this helps, God bless!

@Nickylongballs Here are examples from the New Testament that are worth considering. Here are Biblical examples of Godly people in the New Testament whom the apostle Paul affirmed are still saved despite their sinful deeds. The Corinthian Christians of the apostle Paul's time certainly would convince many people that they were "unsaved" or "had lost their salvation." Their lives were deplorable and were living in gross sin and immorality, but Paul affirmed the fact that they were saved in 1 Corinthians 3:1 as he addressed them as "brethren" that were "carnal babes in Christ". Paul would not have addressed them in that way if they were not saved.
Paul addresses them as "brethren" in 1 Cor 2:1, as "brethren" and "carnal' "babes in Christ" in 1 Cor 3:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 4:6, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 10:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 11:2, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 12:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 14:20, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 15:1, as "brethren" in 1 Cor 15:58. (KJV)
The above list in 1 Corinthians where Paul repeatedly addressed the Corinthian Christians as "brethren" is overwhelming evidence that these are saved people possessing eternal life. Paul would not have addressed them as "brethren" if they were not saved.
When Paul addressed the Corinthian church they were living in sexual immorality, lawsuits, divisions, etc, at the very time when he wrote to them. Lordshippers just love to change the plain text and teach that Paul was referring to the Corinthians after they matured. NO, Paul was addressing and rebuking them in their present state while they were living in sin. It makes no logical sense for the apostle Paul to address and rebuke them if the Corinthians "grew" and matured. Paul addresses them as "Brethren" meaning they were saved, but he couldn't address them as spiritual and mature because they were not. They were saved, but CARNAL and BABES IN CHRIST who were still not growing as Paul said they were still drinking milk.
1 Corinthians 3:1 KJV - "And I, BRETHREN, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto CARNAL, even as unto BABES IN CHRIST."
1 Corinthians 3:2 - I gave you milk, not solid food, for you were not yet ready for it. Indeed, YOU ARE STILL NOT READY.
      1) 1 Corinthians 3:3 - there was ENVYING, STRIFE, and DIVISIONS among the Christians.
      2) 1 Corinthians 5:1-5 - A CHRISTIAN MAN WAS HAVING SEX WITH HIS STEPMOTHER and consequently Paul pronounced judgment on this man in 1 Corinthians 5:5 where Paul says, "hand this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be SAVED on the day of the Lord". The Corinthian Christian's attitude regarding this man who was sleeping with his stepmother was one of PRIDE - 1 Cor 5:2
In 2 Corinthians 2:5-8, Paul gives an update on this man where we read that this man was chastened with CHURCH DISCIPLINE and that God had mercy on him and did not terminate his physical life. Paul instructs the church to forgive and comfort him so that he won't be overcome by excessive sorrow and to reaffirm their love and concern for him.
2 Corinthians 2:5-8 - But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was INFLICTED BY MANY. So that contrariwise ye ought rather to FORGIVE HIM, AND COMFORT HIM, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
Wherefore I beseech you that ye would CONFIRM YOUR LOVE TOWARD HIM.
      3) 1 Corinthians 4:18 - there was ARROGANCE among the Corinthian Christians.
      4) 1 Corinthians 6:7-8 - THERE WERE CHRISTIANS TAKING OTHER CHRISTIANS TO COURT and there was CHEATING among them.
      5) 1 Corinthians 7:2 - there was FORNICATION among the Christians.
      6) 1 Corinthians 11:20-22 - there were Christians EATING SELFISHLY, and there was DRUNKENNESS at the Lord's Supper.
Because of their selfish indulgence of food and getting drunk God brought about SICKNESS and PHYSICAL DEATH as punishment - 1 Cor 11:29-30.
Scripture is clear that there are indeed carnal Christians that are saved. It's not good or spiritually edifying that they are living in sin. God will CHASTISE them because they are His children, but they are still saved - Hebrews 12:5-11. The book of 1 Corinthians confirms the reality of carnal Christians who were living in sin and Paul affirmed that they are eternally saved by addressing them as "sanctified in Christ Jesus" and "saints" in 1 Cor 1:2.
Paul also made it clear that he would deal with those who were sinning in the Corinthian Church with DISCIPLINE/CHASTISEMENT. This, of course, was not a threat against their salvation and eternal security. They were in danger of chastisement from God for their sinful actions and behavior - 2 Corinthians 13:2. Paul had already pronounced chastisement on the man who was sleeping with his stepmother in 1 Corinthians 5:1-5. All the other sinning believers were in the same danger of chastisement from God just like the ones who were eating selfishly and getting drunk at the Lord's Supper - 1 Corinthians 11:20-22 and their consequent chastisement of sickness and premature physical death where their life spans were cut short - 1 Corinthians 11:29-30.
2 Corinthians 13:2 - I already gave you a warning when I was with you the second time. I now repeat it while absent: On my return I will not spare those who sinned earlier or any of the others.
It appears that Paul was warning the Corinthian believers about imminent chastisement from God if they didn't heed his warnings to them.
In 1 Corinthians 11:29-30, it clearly states that God had already dealt with some of the Corinthian Christians who were eating selfishly and getting drunk at the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 11:20-22) by sending sickness and premature PHYSICAL DEATH where their life spans were cut short.
Self-righteous Calvinists/Lordship Salvationists and Arminian/Lordship Salvationists will of course deliberately deny the existence of carnal Christians and would deliberately write off carnal Christians who are living in sin as "unsaved" or having "lost their salvation" despite overwhelming evidence from Scripture.
      Hope this helps, God bless!

Yes and If you want to be saved than trust this Gospel and you will be Saved! 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 :
      Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
      3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures
and we have to put our trust in his blood Romans 3 24-26 :
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
      25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

"As one trespass [Adam's] led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness [Jesus'] leads to justification and life for all men." (Rom. 5:18)

"...every knee shall bow to me [God], and every tongue shall confess to God." (Rom. 14:11)
" ... at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil. 2:10-11)
"And I [Jesus], when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." (John 12:32)
"And every creature which is in heaven and on earth and under the earth I heard saying, 'Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb forever.'" (Rev. 5:13)
"O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come. When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions." (Psalm 65:2-3)
"All your works shall give thanks to you, O Lord." (Psalm 145:10a)
"I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before me, and the breath of life that I made." (Isa. 57:16)

      *****

Never fall into uncertainty. As sure as God lives, the devil lives also. It is he who wants you to fall away to deceit. These three verses, among others, help me when satan tries to attack my mind.
      Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
      1 Timothy 4:1-2
      Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
      Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
      2 Corinthians 4:3-4
3 But if our gospel be hid, It is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them

Thank you Pastor Allen, this made me cry so much because I've been feeling so scared that I was on the wrong path, which I know somethings I still need to work on, but hearing that all I needed to know is that I was doing the will of the father this whole time! When you spoke about giving to the poor, not watching R-rated videos lol, etc, I thought of this as a checklist. I've been trying to stop my drinking to the point of being drunk and always felt so bad afterward. I know I have a long way to go, and I need so much help with crucifying my flesh. Please pray for me..

Jesus came for people exactly like you. Be patient. You didn’t fall into sin overnight, and most people don’t grow out of it overnight. Don’t be patient with the sin, but be patient with yourself. Keep confessing to God and accept the daily restart that He gives you.

There’s so many contradictions I don’t think anyone knows. One hand it says all you have to do is BELIEVE and you’re saved but then the next there’s a list of rules then the next we’re not under the law and then next you have to be baptized and do this and do that and do this and do that. I’m struggling to know all the rules that I need to do to get to heaven. I’d me loving Jesus and trying my best to improve isn’t good enough for him. He is def casting me to hell. He made me how I am, yet he will send me to hell for how he’s made me.

For the true gospel look at creators like “Onorato Diamante” “Law of liberty” and” sniffing out pharisees”. It saddens me to think that you can never have faith in Jesus christ because of this confusing gospel.

      Going to Heaven is easy!
Jesus Christ is God. The Bible says “While we wait for the blessed hope-the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13).
We have all sinned against God and therefore need to be saved from hell. Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose again in order to have your sins forgiven by God. Salvation (Going to Heaven) is by faith alone in Christ alone without any of our good works. The Bible says “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9. STOP WORKING YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN.
Do you believe that you are saved by grace and promised heaven because Jesus died for you?
      Yes_ No_.

From my understanding, first and foremost comes our belief , faith, and trust in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for us at Calvary. When we deeply internalize that sacrifice, and acknowledge that without Christ we are nothing but unrepentant sinners, do we begin to place our faith completely in him. We seek his ways and wisdom. In that process, our hearts undergo the process of sanctification. We strive to live righteously. we know that we are not perfect and will fall (it’s why faith in Jesus and his sacrifice will always be the foundation), but we also know that to grow closer to him, to spread his word, and live according to his word/kingdom, we die to our flesh daily. It’s not about being perfect. It’s not about loosing our salvation if we mess up. It’s about our faith in Jesus’ sacrifice transforming our hearts so much that we desire to live in accordance to his will. I find sermons from Paul washer to be encouraging and helpful when it comes to understanding the sanctification process.

If you believe you will do what he commands. So you do have to do something. Even the demons believe and tremble. So you do have to believe(faith) and do as well. It isn’t just a faith only. And it isn’t doing out of winning or working for salvation it is doing out of reverence, obedience, and gratitude for what God has done. Faith only sounds nice and is attractive to individuals. And I am glad people do want to believe and know God. But God wants those that do His will not just believe in it.

Do demons believe Jesus is their Lord and Saviour? I don't think they do or want him to be Lord, or they wouldn't be demons???
But for us who confess with our mouth that Jesus is our Lord and Saviour who died for our sins and was raised to life by God, which we know in our hearts. We are saved.

@@dansmith9724 Now read Luk. 6:46 where the true Christ says it doesn't do a person any good whatsoever to call Him "Lord" and they're not doing what He commanded. In Matt. 7, Christ stated in no uncertain terms that the ppl who _do_ His Father's will are the ones who will be saved. Clearly there is more to biblical Christianity than possessing a superficial belief in Christ being a Savior.

My faith wavered and I questioned the will of God. But in the last year when the world has become so ugly and evil. I find myself searching and yearning for the Truth. I m in my 50s and I feel so much more at peace once I went back to God. I truly understand what he want of me. I believed Jesus is God’s son that was sent to die and save me and this is the only way I can be with him in eternity.

@bv3912 it is true that you are justified by your works. Because James 2:24 states you are justified by your works. You are just not justified by works or faith alone.
Faith and works are seperate. Works is not faith. And faith is not works..you are trying to just say it's Sola Fide. Sola Fide is false. Faith is an act of the mind. Works are an act of the body.

    • @dman7668
      @dman7668 ปีที่แล้ว

      @bv3912
No. The Bible does not say that true faith produces good works. This is called automatic good works producing theory. And it isn't scriptural. Also, you don't understand what Ephesians is even talking about. It isn't talking about salvation by faith alone. All EPHESIANS is saying in that passage is that its not of SIN LEST anyone should boast. Paul was talking about works of the the law. Good works can justify us. Not works of the law.

    • @dman7668
      @dman7668 ปีที่แล้ว

@bv3912 no. The Bible never talks about a saving faith. What it means to be born again is a reference to baptism, are you crazy bro? Being born again is talking about water baptism!
I never said we are saved by our works. We are saved by grace, however justification is completed by good works. God accepts good works as a means of our justification. It's not by faith alone. Stop trying to say you don't support Sola Fide when you are saying justification is by faith alone. That is Sola fide!
