Every single driver can be edited to be as aggressive, skilled and fast as you want. And at high aggression, they make mistakes like we do - in some races I forget I'm racing AI when they take me out with over-aggressive sends. And you don't get the idiots who think they own the track which is a nice bonus.
Thanks for the all the great content! Loved the studio tour the other day as well! I would love to see a deep dive on how you go from a iRacing clean install to making the dash look so perfect. I know its a combination of fov, seat position and the like but man you have that so perfect...
I jumped in the other night for a quick race and I just wasn't digging the car/track combos that were live so I did a quick AI race around Bathurst and I have to say I was impressed with how aggressive the AI was without being completely unpredictable and murderers. Was a lot of fun actually
Hi Will, Great video. Yes. It does make me want to go get iracing now. Watching this really good race and reading comments it looks and sounds great. Of course what’s not to like when boosted media is doing it! 😊
That was brilliant mate, I’m on AI all the time on iracing at the moment, only got a D licence so don’t really feel I’m good enough yet for online racing, absolutely love it and with my pimax crystal it’s amazing!
I race AI on ACC exclusively at the moment while I hone my skills for online racing. I don’t want to ruin anyone’s race so it’s the perfect training tool. There are places where it’s very predictable, but some online players are predictable too. I run 100% aggressive and 92% skill and I can still get from last place to a podium so I will start in the middle soon with a higher skill rating.
I bought hundreds worth of iracing content, but i cant run AI races without paying the subscribtion. I mean just let me drive against AI with by bought content and hide multiplayer racing behind a pay pall. That would make sense imo.
Same situation, spent $700 plus on iRacing over the last few years but have given up on online racing, more frustrating than fun. I wouldn't mind paying a lower subscription for access to my content and Ai races. 3 or 4 dollars a month, but without ability to join online sessions would be fine compromise for me.
@bo5ibbs That would be your opinion. Im not agaaist being free for Ai racing but i do like the subscription online racing. It keeps most of the idiots and hackers away.
I agree with what you said but I also think their subscription is super cheap. I have to keep my wife from going to Target because she’ll spend $500+ when all we needed is a birthday card.
I love using the AI to practice for endurance events. I can control the time of day and weather, unlike open practices. It's great for learning alternate lines and finding good overtaking spots without accidentally punting a real person.
The only kind of racing that you can do online that want to be clean at all times is joining a small and dedicated community that KNOWS how to race close to each other at all times with making the fewest mistakes possible. I mainly avoid most online racing as my final straw was Motorfest shitty gran races when even people abusing reset spots to even get ahead of the pack by a small margin. IvyTwr really screwed that one up for me.
It would be great at some point for them to add an automatic strength setting for the AI based on your irating or an irating you choose to set. It could use data from the pace and tendencies of users to give you the best practice for the people you will actually race.
Well ... that's why I loved the last 13th week (non-ranked) races. It was "spirited" driving all over, and only found 1 race where someone was wrecking people on purpose. The rest was very-very civilised. The SA punishment in A/B license is so harsh, you can ruin your license in literally 2-3 races if you drive a bit more aggressive. I find the AI in iRacing pretty good, but not all tracks are supported unfortunately. I tried Le Mans Ultimate just yesterday (finally VR works to an extent) and the AI is pretty fun there too. The problem is that AI cannot turn there, their cornering speed is ridiculously slow in any class. So ... yep ... when I don't feel like SA rating stress, I fire up some AI races from time-to-time....
My pace is usually 1-3 seconds off alien and sometimes the ai are on alien pace at like 70 sometimes they’re way slower. I find myself backing out and adjusting the pace level whenever I do an ai race
consider using audio compression to sidechain the engine sounds, its the simplest thing to do but you will definitely figure it out. And your streams and videos will sound much more pro. Trust me. Sound engineer.
iRacing doesn't have random mechanical failures, the only way to blow up an engine is to be in a manual car that allows you to downshift too quickly or run at overly high rpms for a long time, neither of which the ai will do. Ai can have incidents and if by clean up you mean a safety car (there are no animated marshalls that clean up physically) they only have safety car laps in oval racing not road unfortunately. That goes for online as well as ai.
@@boostedmedia haha no problem 😀 both great wheels ^^ I have the F-Core and I was thinking ... strange, I don't have any illuminated buttons on my wheel, hehe

Ironically, the most popular multiplayer sim has by far the best AI racing of all current sims🙃
It's kind of crazy but true - AI in iRacing is really good

i am soo close to saving up enough for my first sim setup and i cant wait

I paid Iracing just to race against AI. I can pick any car and track i want. The best AI in the simracing. They are greater than most real players.

Iracing pay model is a disgrace

Wow! That’s incredibly unfortunate. Here’s to hoping that they can figure out a solution.

I do a lot of AI racing I enjoy it more than online just because it eliminates all the chaos
This! I always feel like you can get more realistic racing in an AI field then an online race where half the field is out after lap 1.

The fov. The scale. Always great sim racing content
Best race I've seen on your channel in a really long time 👏🏾❤️🇿🇦
This is a surprise to me to see how close they will race now. I am definitely going to give this a try!
Watching stuff like this gives me the motivation to improve as a sim racer. I'm a novice, so I mainly race against AI

I feel like i do more AI races than online races in iracing lol
Have you tried AMS2? The AI is pretty good in that game as well
Well ... that's why I loved the last 13th week (non-ranked) races.

looks amazing as always and envious as always that i dont have this kind of sim setup lol
Super fun to watch! Best AI going.
My pace is usually 1-3 seconds off alien and sometimes the ai are on alien pace at like 70 sometimes they’re way slower. I find myself backing out and adjusting the pace level whenever I do an ai race
I might give it a go now. Nice video.
Sophy AI in GT7 had to be dialed way back apparently, it was super aggressive.
Sometimes i use ai race for warmup before official
I use iRacing exclusively for AI racing. Yeah, it's pricey but they continually develop their AI while its pretty static on the other sims.

Do you have a video with hyper-realistic RaceRoom?
Curious what’s your iRating ? Also, love your channel thanks for what you do!
What did you use in the corners where the screens meet? I'm curious.
Brilliant last lap
Will could you show your graphics settings? iRacing in your videos look 100 times better than on my PC.
I would love see this as well especially since I’m new to iRacing.
Recording a screen that has iracing on it always makes the game look better lol
Have you enabled HDR? That makes everything look much better, especially the sunglare.
If you had his 20k set up you could too
@@MrEDET i did
Great finish!
They are one of the major reasons I have extended the sub.
Sweet race!
made me wanna get a rig so I *could* try, yea
super cool! iRacing is a bit difficult to make it look good on camera because of the dated graphics but you guys did an awesome job! kudus 😈
That "machine learning" has nothing on raw Ford-Powa!
If it is half an hour before bed and you are looking for a thrill ... I don't know ... maybe go to bed early 😜
Whats his setup? Is this vr?
Are there any AI systems for creating more dynamic racing events?
Engine failure, incidents, clean up etc.

AC EVO = direct real iRacing competitor
Ai is pretty good once dialed in. It’s a shame you can’t pause though, which makes it awkward on longer runs
You can pause an AI race, if that is what you meant.
Looks like iRacing AI is worth another try.
Hi can you test Test Conspit latest pedals
I’ve always felt that ai racing is just a time trial with traffic.
Have you done a tour of your rig video before?
Yep. Linked in the description.
You know its sim racing because the MacLarens dont break down...
nice video! But its a F-Pro Wheel and not a F-Core :-)
Lmao good catch. No idea how I managed to say that wrong! 🤣
@@boostedmedia haha no problem 😀 both great wheels ^^ I have the F-Core and I was thinking ... strange, I don't have any illuminated buttons on my wheel, hehe
How much does this even codt
i have literally never run an AI race in iracing.
what was the AI % setting for the race?
never mind,, asked too sooon lol
That's the F-Pro, not the F-Core*
Came here to say this. I have an FCORE and did a double-take thinking, do my buttons light up?
*HOLJALINE!*
Love you Mr. 'stralia
I use the AI for practice
The game voices are louder than your voice, i can't make out what you are saying half the time.
Why is there a female trying to tell a man how to drive in this SIM? Automatically makes the sim unrealistic
What colour is your Buga-i?
@@boostedmedia BasedMedia
Yeah. It's only the voice of the first female crew chief to win the Le Mans 24Hours .What would she know about racing?
omg.....
