I agree about not undercutting yourself. Our handmade items are worth the price. One of a kind, handmade, sometimes even considered bespoke or couture if we are doing custom pieces. The more expensive the materials raises the price too.
Absolutely! And crochet and knitting is a “dying” art as well. It’s definitely coming back though!

Everything you sold was so very cute. Your scarf is very nice, love the color. I bet someone at the nursing home would enjoy using it to keep the chill off. I am 76 and use a shawl every day and have for years because it keeps the chill off my neck. $200 after expenses is really good. Great job.

I've had the cutest Dino for about 10 markets everyone loved him but always left him for someone else now he is my little mascot and sits by my buisness card holder
I’m sorry he isn’t selling 🥺 I’ve noticed that most big items won’t sell easily. People gravitate towards smaller, less expensive items at markets for the most part. But I bet eventually the right person will come along and adopt him! 🥰

I would consider making a small stuffed animal to go with the star blanket and sell it as a set. The blanket is pretty small but with an animal it could be considered a blanket for the stuffy.
Originally it was supposed to be an elephant lovey and I never finished it. I started it 2 years ago and abandoned it 🙈 but that is a great idea!!

It's very hard to sell 1 of anything at a craft show -- a lonely item on the table tends not to be as appealing... my advice, make at least 6 of something, or as you thought, pop it on your ETSY and list as One of a Kind (yes, at full price).

Thank you! He did end up selling! I was SO excited when he did😊 the octo was a mix between hobby lobby baby bee yarn and then I ran out and used parfait chunky on the bottom!😂

Ahh I made a 3 foot long snake and it took me about 7 hours I priced it around 32 bucks glad to know im not overpricing. also I made and no sew Dino yesterday using sweet softies pattern and im pricing it at 10 am I underpricing ?
How big is the Dino and how long did it take you to make?

Yes I have a hard time with that sometimes because I’m afraid people won’t pay for the time and skill it takes to make. But I’m learning that they will! Not everyone but the right people will!

Thank you I was so excited to hit my goal! And the "markets" in my area are a mix between farmers markets and craft shows! They also include some boutique type booths. So I'm not really sure what you would call them exactly 😂
